Following our exciting adventure with his multi-award-winning feature "Nayola" - which premiered at the Annecy International Animation Festival in 2022 - we are pleased to contribute to José Miguel Ribeiro's new short film "The Flower and the Fish," a co-production with Praça Filmes (Portugal) and JPL Films (France).
This film also received support from the VAF and the Belgian Tax Shelter, and here too, Senjan and Pieter showcase their talents.

The short film "Guilty Girl" by Varya Yakovleva is a co-production with Golem&Linea (Fr), Trollfilm (No), Adriatic Animation (Hr), and got the support of the Flanders Audiovisual Fund (VAF) and the Belgian Tax Shelter. Varya won, among other awards, the Grand Prix at Animafest Zagreb 2023 with her previous film “Oneluv”.
Maestro Senjan Jansen is taking care of the sound design, while the compositing is in the hands of wizard Pieter Van Houte.

We are happy and proud that "The Berry Picker" - the newest film by Pieter Coudyzer - is in the official selection for the Short Films competition at the Festival international du film d'animation d'Annecy. Especially because 38 minutes is not quite short... 😄

Wij hebben het droevige nieuws vernomen dat Bruno Wouters is overleden op 27/04/2025.
Bruno was regisseur/animator van de allereerste S.O.I.L.-film The End Again (1992).
Behalve een kunstenaar die in de animatiewereld nog lang zal herinnerd worden, was Bruno ook een heel goede vriend van ons. Hij heeft enorm veel voor ons betekend en we zullen hem missen.

We have received the sad news that Bruno Wouters passed away on 27/04/2025.
Bruno was the director/animator of the very first S.O.I.L. film The End Again (1992).
Besides being an artist who will be remembered for a long time, Bruno was also a very good friend of ours. He meant a lot to us and we will miss him.

Finally, Nayola will have its Belgian release in two weeks! In the Lumière cinemas in Mechelen, Brugge and Antwerpen, the film will be screened for the first time on wednesday october 11th.
