new single Gallop is out today on all digital platforms, also available on Bandcamp with physical copies now up for preorder.

The track offers a first glimpse into Perception Field, due mid April to coincide with Midgar’s 12th anniversary. The 5-track EP was composed around the idea that perception is never fixed, and it’s an impressive showcase from an artist that shows he’s capable of merging layers of his excellent sound design with deeper feelings.

Last January we returned to , one of our favourite venues in Berlin, this time together with the Onyro crew from Madrid. Berlin based opened the night navigating bass weight, broken rhythms and slow building tension.

In her own words:
Been exploring the liminal zone between misty half-time rhythms and propulsive basslines with this mix. Like a cheeky forest elf finding themself between the pillars and pipes of a tingle-tangled sound-machine body in full effect. Both Midgar and OHM hold a very special place in my heart, so I got really excited then Jacopo asked me to play the opening, giving me the space to shape the atmosphere for the night. Thank you

Introducing the second half of the lineup for this Saturday at with Midgar x .methods

Jesse G ( ) joins us playing back to back with Arthur Baron ( ) — a pairing we’ve been keen to bring back together. Both are friends of the label, and when they play together there’s a natural flow and shared musical language built on trust of each other’s record bag.

Human Space Machine ( ) has played for us before, last summer at our party with Acid Reflux (another one coming in March), and always brings the right kind of trippy, immersive energy. He’s next on Midgar, with a release scheduled before spring.

2 Weeks ahead of the next event, we start introducing the first three artists of the night at OHM: Kincaid, dérive, and harold.

Hailing from London, Kincaid ( ) left a strong impression with his live set at the last edition of pe:rsona festival — a precise balance of groove, texture, and detailed sound design that left a mark in our fuzzy brains, and the reason we got him for this night. The Berlin based dérive ( ) is an artist and selector we’ve long wanted to involve, moving through low-end pressure and shifting rhythmic structures with an instinctive, physical approach. harold.( )represents the sound and curation of Onyro in Madrid, a series focused on quality, avant-garde club music with warmth and familiarity at its core.

Hey everyone!
We are back at OHM for another collab! This time with the Madrid based crew Onyro. At the intersection of techno, halftime and idm, the night goes beyond a display of avant garde club music with heavy breaks. It is a gathering for people who care about sound quality and express it through focused, silent dancing.

Finally introducing the last artist of our Midgar x useless seconds night. delivered an incredible EP on Big Science — that’s how he caught useless seconds’ attention, who are now bringing him on board with a new release due next week.

His sound sits somewhere between dubstep and psy-stepper, detailed and immersive, with a strong sense of space and movement. The EP also features Soa420, one of the most exciting new names in the French scene.

The news is, discounted tickets went sold out, but due to high demand for more, we decided to add the ‘Community Ticket’ with a lowered price in comparison to the usual entry.

Midgar x useless seconds at Fitzroy is getting closer by the minute! We’re almost done with introductions. In our humble opinion, if Timnah were a record, she’d fall in the “buy on sight” section. Pure quality and outstanding depth, the amenthia artist never misses — and neither should you when she’s in town.

We’re starting the week by (re)introducing Jan Loup! — she redefined the meaning of insanity during her set at our last Midgar x Acid Reflux. We’ve become friends since then, and we’re thrilled to finally bring her back to Berlin — this time for a rare ambient and downtempo set at .

Exactly a month to go until Midgar x useless seconds at Berlin — time to start introducing the lineup.

We first saw Shy One ( ) closing Atonal Festival this year — she completely blew our minds. Her energy behind the decks is unreal, moving between dnb, grime, and house so effortlessly, making her records fly in and out with jaw dropping elegance and mastery.
