At the beginning are published articles of presented lectures, oral presentation and posters at the Annuals Assembly of International Medical Association Bulgaria (IMAB). The initial version of the “Journal of IMAB” is with a title: “ГОДИШЕН СБОРНИК (НАУЧНИ ТРУДОВЕ) – ИМАБ / ANNUAL PROCEEDING (SCIENTIFIC PAPERS) - IMAB” in two issues - part Medicine and part Dentistry in Bulgarian, later and in E
nglish. From 2004 the magazine Journal of IMAB is published only online with ISSN 1312 773X (website: www.journal-imab-bg.org). The journal provides free access to the full text of published articles and their authors. Since June 2010 the Journal is a member of CrossRef and is included in the Digital Object Identifier (DOI®) System with its own DOI prefix: 10.5272. The Digital Object Identifier (DOI®) System is used to identify content objects in the digital environment. DOI® names are assigned to any entity for use on digital networks. They are used to provide current information, including where they (or information about them) can be found on the Internet. Information about a digital object may change over time, including where to find it, but its DOI name will not change. All papers published in the Journal from 2010 and further on, after being deposited in CrossRef, receive personalized DOI numbers.
