The IPA Region of Trikala, Greece has the great pleasure and honour to invite you to participate in the 3rd IPA Folk Dance Meeting , which will take place on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, at the Cultural Center of Trikala, Greece.
The event is organised under the auspices of the IPA Hellenic Section and the Cultural Affairs Committee.
The official program will begin at 18:00, in the hall “Dimitrios Kavrakos”, where traditional dance groups from various regions of Greece will present folk dances.
Following the performances, a traditional celebration evening will take place at an entertainment venue, including live music, dinner, and unlimited drinks.
Participation Fee
150 € per person
(for delegations choosing two overnight stays in a double room)
The price includes:
Dinner on Friday, May 8th, 2026
Breakfast, lunch, and traditional celebration dinner on Saturday, May 9th, 2026
Breakfast on Sunday, May 10th, 2026
Participating delegations are welcome to attend with folk dance groups, presenting traditional dances from their respective countries.
Additionally, upon request, a day excursion will be organized either to the Meteora Monasteries or to the mountain area of Trikala (Elati – Pertouli).
Participation Confirmation Deadline
All delegations are kindly requested to confirm their participation no later than March 31st, 2026, due to organizational and accommodation arrangements.
