Nu Boyana Film Studios deliver full service starting from your initial idea to adding the finishing touches in post production. We are a one-stop-shop for your project offering crews and equipment, sound stages, sets, water tank, motion capture stage, video and sound post production facilities. We have more than 180 VFX artists (Worldwide FX) on the lot as well as an in-house production company (B

2Y Productions) which specialises in commercials, short films and music videos. In order to achieve greatness you need great people with a common vision. When you come to our studio we guide you through the filmmaking process with experienced unit production managers. They will assist your producers in choosing the right crew, staying on budget and keeping your production running smooth. In the past 12 years we are very proud to have worked with some of the biggest names in the industry – from Oscar winning directors and cinematographers to some of the best actors in the history of cinema. Props Department: Every Detail Matters

Bedknobs and broomsticks, and all of your favourite things can be used to shape the worlds your stories live in. Nu Boyana houses a vast collection of props spanning over 50 years of cinematic history.
From pre-history to the 21st century, our props include items from various eras and styles, such as Roman artifacts, Renaissance furniture, modern-day equipment and more. Whether you are building a battlefield, a city street, or a country house, we have everything you need.
Our skilled technicians can modify existing props or craft custom pieces tailored to your vision.
Because every detail matters, and our team ensures each item is period-perfect, camera-ready, and production-smooth.

Sound That Tells the Story 🔊

Nu Boyana offers a world-class, full-service audio post-production workflow, designed to meet the highest standards of the global film and television industry.
Our facilities include both far-field and mid-field Dolby Atmos-certified mixing stages, multiple 7.1 editorial suites and a dedicated ADR booth, fully equipped for high-quality dialogue recording and voiceover work.
Our experienced team has worked on major international productions, including “The Outpost,” “The Expendables 4,” “Rambo: Last Blood,” “Subservience,” and many more.
From sound design and dialogue editing to ADR, Foley and final mixing, our Sound Department delivers exceptional audio post-production that enhances storytelling across all genres.

The She-Devil with a Sword is back in action. EW is debuting the first bloody trailer for 'Red Sonja,' in which the iconic red-headed warrior takes center stage — and kicks major ass in the process.

Water Tank: Dive Into Cinematic Depths 🎥

Step into one of Europe’s most advanced indoor underwater shooting facilities. Measuring 20mx20mx6m, this expansive facility boasts a UV filtration system, minimizing chlorine use and ensuring pristine water quality at a controlled 22°C (adjustable to 33°C). Features include a 2mx1.5m viewing gallery and a built-in skimmer system. A 10-ton bridge crane and a 13-meter working height offer crews total control, while integrated LED lighting, VFX screens, and wavemakers unlock a world of creative possibilities. Whether filming serene dives or intense underwater stunts, everything is supported: from underwater camera housings and diving gear to makeup/wardrobe rooms, actor bathrooms and on-site equipment storages.

Our Studio is the main production facility with 8 sound stages, 5 workshops, a water tank, and “everything you can find in terms of the infrastructure of filmmaking … lots of nice toys to play with,” says CEO Yariv Lerner.

More than 30 projects have been awarded Bulgaria's 25% rebate since it launched two years ago, including Daisy Ridley's "Young Woman and the Sea."

The NU Boyana Experience: Season 3 🎬
At the end of February, we had a pleasure of hosing 65 talented AKMI Media and Art students at Nu Boyana Film Studios for an immersive three-day educational journey. This visit marks the third year in a row that we have welcomed students from . During these days, the students explored our world-class facilities, participated in hands-on workshop - organized by our vocational training center - and gained invaluable insights from industry professionals, getting practical experience in the world of filmmaking.

AKMI is a member of ALPHABET Education, the Largest International Educational Group in Greece, and holds a leading position in vocational education and training in Greece.
