The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) Junior Wing has officially achieved a TRIPLE WORLD RECORD in the Golden Book of World Records (GBWR) on December 15, 2025, during the Bahrain National Day celebrations at the Riffa campus

The triple triumphs showcase incredible student spirit and patriotism

1. Largest human depiction of a national flag.
2. Most people saluting the national flag simultaneously.
3. Most people chanting a slogan in three languages.

A staggering 3,700 students from Primary and Kindergarten sections, supported by dedicated staff, formed a spectacular human depiction of the National Flag of Bahrain 🇧🇭! This massive show of unity, national pride, and respect adds brilliance to ISB's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) announced the schedule for its fireworks displays on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Day, the anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s accession to the throne and the accompanying national events.

The spectacular fireworks will take place on Tuesday at 7pm, with free access for all. Parking will be available at the circuit for those wishing to attend the largest fireworks display of the year.

BIC welcomes the public to join this highly anticipated display and celebrate this important occasion. Attendees are advised to arrive as early as possible, as a large turnout is expected.

Car parking will be available at the circuit for viewing the fireworks, and food trucks will be on site, providing an opportunity to enjoy a pleasant and relaxed evening with family and friends.

The fireworks display at Bahrain International Circuit on the occasion of the Kingdom’s National Day, the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne, and the accompanying national events is an annual event favoured by citizens and residents.

The Bahrain Coffee Festival 2025 has launched at Exhibition World Bahrain as part of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s holiday season. The event is organised by DXB Live in cooperation with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), the Exhibition World Bahrain, and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). The festival, running until December 13, features over 100 local, regional, and international brands from more than 20 countries.

The festival offers diverse content, bringing together top experts and global brands to provide an interactive experience for coffee enthusiasts and professionals, enhancing Bahrain’s position as a hub for specialised events and exhibitions.

The festival programme includes a "Latte Art" competition with 54 participants on December 11 and 12, judged by international experts, with a first prize of BHD 1,200. Over 25 professional workshops led by global experts are also offered, attracting more than 300 amateur and beginner participants.

The event features an expanded food and beverage area with offerings from local and international brands, as well as innovative coffee experiences and a zone showcasing the latest roasting, brewing, and professional equipment.

The Bahrain Coffee Festival serves as a cultural and entertainment platform combining knowledge, training, and community engagement. It opens new opportunities for youth and entrepreneurs in the coffee sector, reinforcing the Kingdom’s status as a destination for innovation, culture, and hospitality.

Visiting hours are 3 pm to 10 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; 1 pm to 10 pm on Friday; and 10 am to 10 pm on Saturday.

Following a roaring start to the month with the debut performances of Metallica, Stephen Wilson Jr., and Saint Levant, the Amphitheatre now looks ahead to a series of highly anticipated acts.
Global sensation Tyla will make her Bahrain debut on the 9th and 14th of December at The Desert Garden (the first show is already sold out). The Grammy-nominated artist, known for her breakout hit "Water," fuses amapiano, R&B, and pop, earning global recognition for her unique sound.

On December 11th, global chart-topper Pitbull returns to Bahrain, delivering his signature high-octane performance. The multi-platinum artist, known for smash hits like "Give Me Everything," remains one of the most electrifying names in international pop.

On the occasion of the first anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s inauguration of the Bapco Modernisation Project, which was organised by Bapco Energies Group on December 18, 2024, and within the framework of following-up on the progress of refinery’s modern units, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bapco Energies, paid an extensive inspection visit to the refinery site to closely examine the efficiency of operational processes and follow up on the performance of the new units.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad’s visit aimed to assess the refinery’s work and ensure the efficiency of production operations. His Highness was briefed on the significant operational efficiency of the refinery’s operations following its modernisation. Production levels have risen from 265,000 barrels per day to 380,000.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad announced a new increase in production capacity to 405,000 barrels per day, representing a 42% increase compared to the previous capacity. This increases the Kingdom’s export capacity by up to 40% of high-value oil products, exceeding the operational targets set at the beginning of the modernisation project.

McLaren's Lando Norris won his first Formula 1 world championship after finishing third in the season-ending Abu Dhabi GP at the Yas Marina Circuit . Embroiled in a three-way race on the final day, alongside teammate Oscar Piastri and four-time world champions Max Verstappen, the 26-year-old came into Abu Dhabi with a 12-point lead in Drivers' Championship standings. Despite winning his third race on the bounce, Verstappen had to settle for the second spot in championship standings. Piastri, on the other hand, finished third behind Norris and Verstappen. Norris won McLaren's first Drivers' Championship since Lewis Hamilton in 2008

Manama was named the World’s Leading Business Travel Destination at the prestigious World Travel Awards Grand Final 2025, held at Exhibition World Bahrain, attended by 300 figures from the tourism sector from inside and outside the Kingdom of Bahrain, making it one of the most diverse editions in the history of the awards. A total of 120 winners were honoured, including 110 international and 10 from Bahrain.

Exhibition World Bahrain won four awards at the ceremony, confirming its success in consolidating its role in attracting major international events, in line with the 2022–2026 Tourism Strategy. It received Bahrain’s Best Convention Centre, the Middle East’s Best MICE Event Venue, as well as global recognition as the World’s Leading Large-Scale Wedding Venue and World’s Leading MICE Event Venue. The national carrier, Gulf Air, was also awarded for Outstanding Contribution to the Airline Industry, in recognition of its vital role in enhancing the Kingdom’s air connectivity.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister delegated His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs to attend the closing ceremony of the IRONMAN 70.3 Middle East Championship Bahrain 2025, which was a special edition that highlighted the Kingdom’s advanced position on the global sports map.

The closing ceremony was attended by a number of senior officials.

His Highness said that the large turnout of professional and amateur competitors from around the world confirms the growing international confidence in the Kingdom’s organisational capabilities and reflects the scale of investment in sport as an influential sector in comprehensive development.

His Highness noted that the success of this edition adds to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s track record of hosting major sporting events, reinforcing its position as a leading platform for innovation and sporting excellence in the region and the world.

He also expressed pride in the victory of Team Bahrain Victorious in the men’s and women’s professional categories, emphasising that this achievement reflects the advanced level the team has reached in major competitions and embodies their ability to compete and achieve honourable results in the biggest international tournaments.
