*AN URGENT APPEAL TO PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU AND THE CURRENT GOVERNOR OF EDO STATE*

By Hon. Bright Omorogieva

*ON BEHALF OF THE UNSWORN 14 APC HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY HEROES AND LOYAL PARTY MEMBERS*

Your Excellency,
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Your Excellency,
Governor of Edo State

I write with a loyal heart, as a faithful member of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and as one who has stood through thick and thin with the party in Edo State.

It is with humility, pain, and an unwavering belief in justice that I appeal to Your Excellencies on behalf of the 14 APC heroes — the elected House of Assembly members who were denied inauguration simply because they refused to submit to the dictates of the then PDP-backed administration in Edo State.

These gallant legislators refused to bow to intimidation and betrayal. They stood firm for democracy, for the APC, and for the people who elected them — but they were unjustly punished, denied their seats, their voices, and their service to the people.

Many of us stood with them. We lost opportunities, political ground, and in many cases, our livelihood, but we did not lose our integrity. We held firm, because we believed in the party. We believed in your words.

*I remember vividly — I was there in person — when our leader, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, hosted Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, then a presidential aspirant, at his residence. The atmosphere was electric. The video recording of that meeting is still in circulation. I personally heard President Tinubu say the following words to the people of Edo State:*

*"I want to appeal to you to reject Godwin Obaseki in this coming election. I have suffered with many others to bring about this democratic regime that today we are enjoying in the country. Godwin Obaseki didn't participate in any aspect of the struggle to enshrine democracy in the country. Therefore, he could not understand the value and the pains that were associated with that struggle. He was elected a governor by you people of great Edo State because he presented himself as a democrat and was sworn in after winning the election — no one prevented him from being sworn in. Then after, members of the State Assembly who got elected along with him — specifically twenty-four of them — he prevented fourteen of them from being sworn in. He demonstrated an act of dictatorship, lack of respect for the rule of law, and lack of respect for you — the people who voted for those legislators."*

Your Excellency, these were your words. We believed them. We held on to them like a promise. But years later, no recognition, no compensation, no inclusion has come for those who made that stand — not even from the current Edo State administration, which once publicly promised to look into the injustice.

This silence is painful. This abandonment is disheartening. The 14 legislators are not just victims — they are democratic heroes, and so are those of us who stood behind them when it was dangerous and politically costly to do so.

We are not begging for favors. We are only asking for justice, inclusion, and compensation for the loyalty, sacrifices, and political losses we endured for the APC and for democracy.

We are hopeful. We are still loyal. But we are also hurting.

Mr. President, Your Excellency the Governor — please remember your words. Please remember our stand. Please remember our sacrifice.

History is watching. And the future will ask what we did for those who stood firm when democracy was under threat.

God bless President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
God bless the Governor of Edo State.
God bless the All Progressives Congress (APC).
God bless the people of Edo State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

*MY HEART BLEEDS: PDP LEADERS SEE APC AS THEIR ‘FOOD-IS-READY’ PARTY — NOT FOR OUR FAITHFUL LOYALISTS.*

By Hon. Bright Omorogieva

My heart bleeds—not because of the taunts from our political opponents, but because their words attempt to ridicule the deep sacrifices, steadfast loyalty, and unshakable belief that our party faithful have demonstrated through thick and thin.

To those within the PDP who now mockingly label the APC a “food-is-ready” party—ripe only for their convenience—I respond with clarity and conviction: the APC was not born out of opportunism. It was not built by political wanderers who flock in when power shifts. It was built by the sweat, resilience, and enduring spirit of those who stood firm when it was hardest to do so.

The true soul of our party lives in the grassroots mobilizers, in the elders who believed before the crowd gathered, in the youth who campaigned with nothing but hope in their hearts, and in the forgotten faithful who never once asked, “What’s in it for me?”

Yes, there are valid grievances. Some appointments have not reflected the expectations of those who labored tirelessly for the survival and growth of the APC. I acknowledge this reality. But we must not let the noise of opportunism drown the values of loyalty. We must not mistake short-term political theater for long-term legacy.

There is a growing and justified concern that once certain individuals defect from the PDP to the APC, they are immediately treated like royalty—while loyal party members are sidelined. Appointments appear overnight for these political tourists, as though loyalty has lost its value. With nothing more than a fresh party card and old political connections, they believe they can bypass the ranks built by sacrifice and consistency.

Some PDP leaders even boast openly that our governor, Sen. Monday Okpebholo, is someone they can easily manipulate. They believe they can sway him with false flattery, political games, and calculated deception. Their aim is to exploit his perceived inexperience, to blur the line between true APC loyalists and opportunistic pretenders. They are confident they can defect today and get appointed tomorrow—while the true faithful are left behind.

This is exactly why they call APC a “food-is-ready” party—not because we are weak, but because they believe we are too quick to forget. Too quick to feed strangers while our own family goes hungry. This shameful narrative must end.

We must not allow our party to become a refuge for every passerby who once hurled stones at our house. We cannot continue to reward betrayal while ignoring loyalty. It is time our leaders stopped giving wings to political enemies—allowing them to fly freely in our sky and eat at our table while our own go hungry. Loyalty must mean something. Sacrifice must matter again.

The APC is not perfect. No human institution is. But it is ours. And it is still alive because you, our loyalists, breathed life into it. You campaigned in enemy territory. You defended the party when others jumped ship. You voted, waited, watched, and protected the mandate when others mocked from the sidelines. Let no one rewrite that history.

To our loyal APC supporters: you were never used and dumped. You are the living pillars of this party. No insult, no mockery from the PDP, can erase your contribution.

Let it be known:
– While they mock, we organize.
– While they scheme, we build.
– While they try to divide, we unify.
– While they hunt for the next meal, we shape the next generation.

Let our democracy rise above bitterness and desperation. Let us build a system that rewards merit, values loyalty, and honors sacrifice—not one that empowers those who show up only when the table is set.

To those PDP leaders who mock us: your obsession with our internal affairs says more about your confusion than our direction. If the APC were truly a “food-is-ready” kitchen, you wouldn’t be shouting at the door—you’d be eating quietly inside. But you can’t, because even on our worst day, we stand taller than your best.

Now is the time for reflection and rebuilding. A time to honor those who stayed true when others walked away. Let us return to the foundational ideals that birthed the APC—a party rooted in justice, inclusion, and progress.

Let the mockers mock. But let the builders build.
Let our leaders rise above confusion.
Let loyalty—not desperation—be the key that opens doors.
Let the APC remember who kept the light burning when the storm raged.

Long live our loyal APC faithful.
Long live our democracy.
Long live the spirit of sacrifice that sustains us.

*"LEADERSHIP IS NOT ABOUT HANGING AROUND: HON.BRIGHT OMOROGIEVA ECHOES H.E. CHIEF LUCKY IMASUEN'S TIMELY DEMOCRACY MESSAGE AT FESTIVAL HALL"*

TEAMHBO REPORTING LIVE

Today, I write not only as a public servant but as a concerned citizen who believes that effective leadership requires order, discipline, and self-restraint from all of us who are privileged to serve under this administration. It is important that we reflect and correct certain habits that are becoming increasingly counterproductive, especially in how some individuals relate with the Office of His Excellency, the Governor.

Let me begin by sincerely commending the former Deputy Governor, Chief Lucky Imasuen, for his powerful words of wisdom at the Government House earlier today. His message was clear, timely, and thought-provoking. He spoke as a statesman, offering not just criticism but a mirror for us all to look into. He used himself as an example, stating that whenever he had the rare opportunity to meet with the Governor, his meetings never lasted more than three to four minutes. He goes straight to the point—out of respect for the Governor’s time and understanding of the weight of responsibility the office carries.

This is the kind of leadership maturity we must emulate. Sadly, the opposite is what we now see far too often.

Many appointees, instead of returning to their stations to work and make a difference, now make it a routine to sit endlessly at the Government House, lingering around for hours and occupying time that should be used to attend to pressing matters of state. Some come without any real reason—just to “see the Governor.” But at what cost?

We must understand that the Governor is not just a figurehead—he carries the burden of a whole state on his shoulders. Each minute wasted in idle chatter or unnecessary visitation is a minute taken away from signing critical documents, approving essential policies, or attending to those who haven’t even had the privilege of one appointment.

I was genuinely embarrassed when I heard a story—one that should trouble the conscience of any serious-minded public servant. A lady boasted to her friend that she was going to the Government House to inform the Governor that it was her birthday, expecting to receive birthday money. And this is someone who already holds an appointment! My question is this: Is that what leadership has become? Is that the height of our ambition—to reduce governance to gift-seeking and social calls?

Let me speak truth to all who need to hear it: If the Governor has not called for you Or you're not having appointments with the governor, you have no business lingering at his office. Stop crowding the Government House without purpose. Stop taking up time and space that others—especially those yet to receive appointments—desperately need. Some people, by their constant presence, create the impression that they are expecting a second or third appointment, while others are still waiting for just one opportunity to serve.

To those who already have appointments, I urge you: Return to your constituency. Work. Serve. Let your performance speak on your behalf. Do not turn the Governor’s office into a hangout spot or a personal bank. The mandate you’ve been given is not for decoration—it is for action, results, and impact.

To the Governor’s Office and handlers, I respectfully recommend that access be better regulated. Let us give room to those who have never had the privilege of being heard. Let us allow the Governor the time and space to focus on governance—on files, on decisions, on the people.

This is not about casting blame—it is a call to responsibility. Leadership is not about proximity to power, but about productivity in service. Let us uphold the dignity of our offices. Let us respect the time of the Governor. Let us stop the waste and embrace a culture of purpose and respect.

The future of our state depends on the wisdom of its leaders and the discipline of those who surround power.

Let us do better. Let us be better. And let us allow good governance to thrive.

*"OSHIO BABA NEVER SHUT DOWN LAGOS AIRPORT OVER A MISSED FLIGHT—HE DEMANDED ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY."*

By Hon. Bright Omorogieva

In the age of viral misinformation, the easiest thing to share is a lie, and the hardest thing to defend is the truth. Once again, those with empty hands but loud voices have taken to social media with false claims that Senator Adams Oshiomhole – fondly known as Oshio Baba – attempted to "shut down Lagos Airport" because he missed a flight.

Let us set the record straight, not with emotions, but with facts – and wisdom.

Senator Oshiomhole was not late for his flight. In fact, he arrived at the Lagos Airport well ahead of the scheduled departure time of 6:30 am. By approximately 6:10 am, he was already at the terminal, present and ready for boarding. But to his surprise – and to the surprise of any right-thinking citizen – he was told that the flight had already departed.

Now, let’s pause and think deeply: If you arrived before your flight time and were told the plane had already left, how would you feel? Angry? Disappointed? Or betrayed by a system that ought to be accountable and transparent?

This is not a case of privilege or power. This is about principle and process. Senator Oshiomhole, a respected elder statesman and national leader, has never been known to wield power for personal benefit. He has been an advocate of the people – from his days as a union leader to the corridors of the Senate.

It is common knowledge that certain airlines, including Air Peace in this instance, often engage in operational practices that leave much to be desired. There are growing reports – and not just from public figures – of flights departing before scheduled time or without full passenger boarding, especially when the airline seeks to resolve overbooked seats in their own convenience, leaving passengers stranded.

This incident should raise deeper questions about consumer protection, regulatory oversight, and institutional accountability in our aviation industry. If this could happen to a former governor, former national party chairman, and serving senator of the Federal Republic, what then is the fate of the average Nigerian traveler?

Rather than twisting the narrative to smear a man of principle, we should channel this moment into demanding better service delivery and respect for travelers’ time and dignity.

To those spreading this malicious story, let me say this with clarity: Falsehood, no matter how loud, will never bury the truth. Lies may trend for a day, but integrity echoes through generations.

Let us stop weaponizing misinformation for cheap engagement. Let us rise to the occasion and learn to speak not just with facts, but with a sense of responsibility.

Senator Oshiomhole is not seeking sympathy. He seeks accountability and justice – for all.

In conclusion, my fellow Nigerians, the real headlines are these: *"Osho Baba Faced the Bad System at the Lagos Airport — Not for Himself, But for All of Nigerians!"*

*RESPONSE TO PDP’S MEDIA PROPAGANDA:*

TEAMHBO REPORTING

It is important to set the record straight and respond to the recent wave of orchestrated propaganda and disguised praise-singing championed by certain elements within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), particularly their so-called Edo State Social Media Force (ESSMF), allegedly sponsored with public-facing monthly stipends by Pa Etose Dickson Imasogie.

Let it be known that we, members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), are not moved by deceptive generosity clothed in mischief. We are aware of the latest scheme being spearheaded by the PDP — a strategy not only designed to tarnish the good works of the APC-led administration in Edo State and beyond, but also to rekindle unrest and tension through subtle media provocation.

A Distorted Agenda Under the Guise of “Support”

While Pa Etose Dickson Imasogie’s monthly donation of ₦100,000 to a partisan media arm may appear benevolent on the surface, it is a dangerous precedent aimed at mobilizing misinformation under the pretext of social media activism. This gesture does not support democracy or good governance — it fuels division, promotes hate speech, and empowers digital miscreants to attack political opponents.

Let it be known: the mission behind this sponsorship is to weaponize the media, enabling individuals like Albert Obazee and other known cyber agents to deliberately discredit the APC administration, both at the state and federal level. Their renewed energy comes not just from political bitterness over recent appeal court judgments and the upcoming Supreme Court decisions but from a deep-seated agenda to destabilize Edo State using digital tools and local provocateurs.

An Attempt to Turn Edo Into a Media War Zone

What we are witnessing is a calculated attempt to turn Edo State into a media warfront, riddled with fake narratives, character assassination, and fear-mongering. It is nothing short of a digital cult war camouflaged as political commentary. The cult-related violence we are battling in some parts of the state must not be given further oxygen through inflammatory and deceptive messaging from opposition platforms pretending to be media activists.

Pa Etose and his political allies must be cautioned: Edo State will not be dragged into chaos through the backdoor of social media anarchy.

APC Will Defend the Peace of Edo — Publicly and Strategically

The APC is committed to peace, development, and performance. The Monday Okpebholo and Dennis Idahosa project remains one of vision, integrity, and the people. While we refuse to be distracted by sponsored noise, we also make it abundantly clear — we will resist all attempts to destabilize our state using paid propaganda and criminal recruitment disguised as media support.

We are actively monitoring these digital manipulations. And just as they are strategizing to deceive, we are working silently and strategically to defend the truth, protect our achievements, and retire every falsehood — not just with facts, but with the overwhelming support of the people of Edo State.

A Call to the People

This is not just a call to APC members — this is a call to all well-meaning Edo sons and daughters to resist propaganda, reject media cultism, and promote unity. We must not allow our state to become a digital battleground for political desperados. Our strength is in our performance — and we will let our achievements speak louder than their propaganda.

The era of deception is over. We are taking back our media space, our peace, and our future.

*PDP: THE EDO NUMBER YOU'RE CALLING FOR SUPREME COURT JUDGMENT IS NOT AVAILABLE*

By Hon. Bright Omorogieva

The desperate attempts by the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to reclaim a seat they fumbled with reckless arrogance is not just laughable—it is pitiful. The Edo number you're calling from the Supreme Court is not available, and even if it rings, no one is picking because the line has been permanently disconnected by the people of Edo State.

Let it be made clear: Senator Monday Okpebholo is not just a man in office—he is a mandate in motion. A people’s project. A voice risen from the long-silenced trenches of Edo's political betrayal. He is not backed by noise or fraudulent court shopping; he is upheld by a grassroots movement that the PDP has long lost touch with.

The APC, unlike PDP, has not only presented men—they’ve delivered legacies. Ask any Edo man or woman who witnessed the transformational governance of Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole—they’ll tell you what real leadership looks like. Oshiomhole rescued Edo from the grip of decay. He brought visible development to our roads, our schools, our health institutions, and our civil service. He reawakened dignity in governance and reminded us what it means to have a government that works for the people.

The comrade-governor turned senator laid the foundation upon which Edo’s current redemption is anchored. And today, that vision is being reawakened through men like Monday Okpebholo, who are not seeking power for ego—but for service.

Even President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the master strategist and visionary of modern progressive politics, recently made it abundantly clear during his address:
*"Edo must return to the path of progressive development. We cannot allow the manipulation of power to rob the people again. This is the time for Edo to shine under competent, people-oriented leadership."*

PDP, both at the federal and state levels, should understand this bitter truth: their political network in Edo State has been shut down. Governor Godwin Obaseki, in his infamous style, not only pulled the plug—he chewed the wires. The same wires that once powered his rise have now been shredded beyond repair. He bit the very fingers that fed him both in the APC and the PDP. Now, his so-called ‘Promax candidate,’ Asue Ighodalo, is left stranded in the blackout—a power outage so intense that even the Supreme Court cannot restore light to that darkness.

Edo people are not fools. We have seen how Obaseki used APC / PDP like a ladder, only to kick it away after climbing to the top. Now, in his desperation to install a puppet to cover his misdeeds, he's gambling with the same people he once deceived. But this time, the game is up.

The PDP's strategy is a tired playbook:
Legal ambushes,
Media propaganda,
Fake moral crusades and
Courtroom drama without electoral stamina. What a shame.

Empty noise from political jobbers who were rejected at the ballot.

What PDP refuses to understand is that power belongs to the people, and the people have spoken through the ballot—not in the courtroom. You cannot harvest in a farm you abandoned, nor can you govern a people you've long insulted with failed promises, godfatherism, and internal treachery.

Let it be said loud and clear: Asue Ighodalo will remain in the darkness of political power failure until he and his sponsors shift from confusion to clarity—until they move from the politics of imposition to the politics of service, which only the All Progressives Congress (APC) represents today.

No peace for the wicked, indeed. And until PDP returns to the drawing board with honesty and humility, they will continue dialing a number that no longer exists in Edo's political directory.

*MODEN — THE "MOVE OF DEVELOPMENT EDO NEEDS": A NEW EDO HAS RISEN THROUGH OKPEBHOLO*

TEAMHBO REPORTING

Many chant MODEN like an anthem. They wear it like a badge. They post it, share it, and tag it across platforms. But let me say this without hesitation: only a few truly grasp the depth of its meaning, the weight of its vision, and the fire of its purpose.

MODEN is not a fleeting trend. It was not just a political slogan alone by the originator, Hon. Bright Omorogieva. It is a movement. A mandate. A refined mindset to recover Edo from the condemned and "demo" administration of Obaseki to a "moden" administration

MODEN stands for Move Of Development Edo Needs—a vision born not out of campaign strategy, but out of an unshakable passion for people, progress, and purpose.

It honors two sons of Edo—Monday and Dennis—who, through their innovation, energy, and unwavering drive under the APC, became symbols of a new dawn. Their leadership inspired the idea that Edo State doesn’t have to crawl when it can soar.

But to truly appreciate MODEN, we must understand what it came to replace.

Let us speak the truth, boldly and without fear: The previous administration wasn’t just a failure—it was a demo version of development. A trial phase that never evolved. A shadow of what could have been. What do I mean?

Just like in music, where a demo track is incomplete and rough—never fit for final release—the past government presented a half-baked version of progress. It was all preview and no performance. All talk and no transformation.

That government was built on MOUs—Memoranda of Understanding—that lacked any real understanding. Agreements signed with fanfare but followed by silence. Projects launched in the media, but never landed in reality. They gave the people blueprints, not buildings. Dreams, not delivery.

We were handed promises on paper, but lived with problems in person.

That was demo development—a version of leadership that gave us hope only to hang it dry. A trial phase that lasted too long and failed to evolve.

They sold illusions. They advertised progress but never activated it. Schools remained broken. Hospitals unequipped. Roads abandoned. Youth ignored. The people of Edo were made to settle for previews when what they deserved was production.

But that era is over.

MODEN has come to upgrade Edo from demo to destiny.

MODEN is not just a campaign—it is a covenant. A covenant of visible, measurable, and meaningful development. It is the streetlights you can see. The roads you can drive on. The hospitals you can trust. The empowerment programs you can feel.

Where the demo government gave us delay, MODEN delivers. Where they gave us noise, MODEN brings purpose. Where they gave us deception, MODEN gives direction.

Okpebholo represents this new spirit—a leader who understands that Edo deserves not another demo but a full upgrade. A modern, efficient, people-first government. A system that prioritizes development over distraction. Impact over impression.

We cannot return to the demo days. We cannot rewind into mediocrity.

The past administration was the demo version of leadership.
Okpebholo is the MODEN version—the full upgrade, the real deal, the future of Edo.

Let us walk into that future together. Let us choose substance over slogans. Let us embrace a leadership that builds, delivers, and uplifts.

Because the past may have previewed failure,
But the future—our future—is MODEN.

*ASUE AND PDP’S SUPREME COURT BID: CHASING SHADOWS AFTER DOUBLE DEFEAT*

TEAMHBO REPORTING LIVE FROM ABUJA

A fresh ripple of political speculation is spreading across Edo State: that Dr. Asue Ighodalo and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) are gearing up for a final legal showdown at the Supreme Court — challenging both the outcome of the 2024 gubernatorial election and the just-concluded Appeal Court judgment of May 29, 2025. But at what point does the pursuit of justice become nothing more than a shadow chase? At what point does a legitimate legal right become a costly political miscalculation?

Let’s set the record straight: in a democracy, every candidate reserves the right to seek redress. But in leadership, wisdom must guide ambition. A true statesman knows not only when to fight — but also when to let go with grace.

If I had an honest moment with Dr. Asue Ighodalo today, I would say:
Sir, you entered the race with structure, backing, and determination. You fought gallantly. But the people have spoken — twice. The courts have ruled — twice. There comes a time when dignity lies not in how long you struggle, but in how well you accept the outcome.

Politics is not merely about verdicts or victories — it is about legacy, vision, and responsibility. What story will history tell about your journey? That of a noble contender who bowed out with honor, or one who lingered in a courtroom long after the people had moved on?

Let’s not forget: the courtroom is not a theater for political consolation. The Supreme Court is not swayed by hashtags or emotional appeals. It decides based on law, facts, and precedent. You were given two chances — at the ballot and at the tribunal. Both rejected your claim. A third attempt, especially in the highest court, risks reducing your credibility rather than restoring it.

Let’s speak plainly: the people of Edo State have made their decision — loud, clear, and democratic. They have chosen Senator Monday Okpebholo and the APC-led vision for a progressive Edo. Their mandate reflects a collective desire for transformation — for fresh energy, pragmatic leadership, and results-driven governance.

Now is not the time to drag Edo back into a vortex of legal distractions. Now is the time for unity, recovery, and developmental focus. Edo people are not yearning for legal drama — they are yearning for jobs, roads, schools, and security. Every minute spent in litigation delays the task of rebuilding and renewing our state.

To the PDP, this is not a time for defiance but for reflection. The season has changed. What the party needs now is internal reform, not courtroom resistance. What it needs is rebuilding, not relitigating. The future remains possible — but only if the party reconnects with the grassroots, mentors a new generation of leaders, and aligns itself with the real concerns of the people.

To Dr. Asue: your legacy is not tied to a court judgment. Your name still carries weight, your professional record remains stellar. But don’t allow political overreach to drain the goodwill you’ve built over the years. Those who urge you forward today will be nowhere to be found when the court delivers its final ruling — and the costs linger.

Edo is already on the path to renewal. The APC-led government is laying the groundwork for a more prosperous, secure, and united state. The time has come to support the will of the people, not stand in its way.

After two decisive defeats, another trip to the courtroom is not justice — it is futility. Let the verdict stand. Let the new leadership lead. Let Edo move forward.

Edo has risen with the move of development Edo needs (MODEN)— and it will Continue to make progress in all ratification!
