Sound System Outernational, em parceria com a Sonic Street Technologies (SST, projeto de pesquisa ERC), tem o prazer de convidá-lo para a 11ª conferência e celebração do Sound System Outernational: Culturas de Sound System ao Redor do Mundo. Este encontro de dois dias marca a culminação do projeto de pesquisa da Sonic Street Technologies e sua estreita colaboração com o Sound System Outernational. Juntos, celebramos e consolidamos 5 anos de pesquisa global sobre culturas de sound system. O que esperar: > Painéis & Apresentações – Pesquisadores da SST de todo o mundo compartilham insights de seu trabalho, refletindo sobre a teoria, prática e política das culturas de sound system.
> Estreias de Filmes – Documentários totalmente novos de sound systems da Jamaica, Índia, Brasil, México, Austrália e Colômbia serão exibidos em Londres pela primeira vez.
Sessões no Pátio – Direto da Itália, o SOUL Rockers Sound System proporcionará o coração do evento, tocando durante os intervalos e ao longo do dia para receber os participantes.
> Festa de Sábado à Noite (18h–22h) – A celebração continua com uma sessão de dança completa à noite, no estilo do sistema de som do Soul Rockers Sound System, com DJs convidados. Sound System Outernational, in association with Sonic Street Technologies (SST, ERC research project), are delighted to invite you to the 11th Sound System Outernational conference and celebration: Sound System Cultures Worldwide.
This two-day gathering marks the culmination of the Sonic Street Technologies research project and its close collaboration with Sound System Outernational. Together, we celebrate and consolidate 5 years of global research into sound system cultures.
What to Expect:
> Panels & Presentations – SST researchers from across the world share insights from their work, reflecting on the theory, practice, and politics of sound system cultures.
> Film Premieres – Brand-new documentary films from sound systems in Jamaica, India, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, and Colombia will screen in London for the first time.
> Atrium Sessions – Straight out of Italy, SOUL Rockers Sound System will provide the heartbeat of the event, playing during breaks and throughout the day to welcome participants.
> Saturday Night Dance (6–10pm) – The celebration continues with a full evening dance session powered by Soul Rockers Sound System sound system style with guest selectors.
