Here's your fitness Whey Protein Cake recipe:
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 medium ripe banana, mashed
2 tablespoons oat flour
2 scoops (60g) whey protein (chocolate or vanilla flavor)
2 tablespoons plain yogurt or skyr
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cocoa powder (optional, for chocolate-flavored cake)
Cinnamon powder to taste (optional)
Natural sweetener to taste (optional)
Preparation:
In a bowl, whisk the eggs using a fork or whisk.
Add the mashed banana and mix until smooth.
Mix in the oat flour, whey protein, cocoa (if using), and yogurt, stirring until fully combined.
Lastly, gently fold in the baking powder.
Pour the mixture into a small non-stick or lightly greased baking pan.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC (350ºF) for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Suggested toppings (optional):
Natural peanut butter or healthy hazelnut spread.
Fresh berries or banana slices.
