Manati Games was born with one mission: to show video games developed in Brazil to the world, with the same quality and depth as the best articles produced by media outlets in the US and Europe.
For years, the main focus of Brazilian gaming magazines and websites has been the same: to provide video game news from all around the world in Portuguese (not Spanish!) to local readers. When thinking about what we could do to set us apart, we decided to do the opposite: to provide information about the booming Brazilian video game development industry in English, so it could be touted worldwide.
Not only we are based in Brazil, but we can also easily reach the studios creating games here. Our team consists of senior journalists from major video game magazines and websites. We know how to produce great content about video games and – more importantly – we love video games.
