A dream to give waste, a second life,
to turn ignorance into awareness, and to remind every Bhutanese heart that what we throw away doesnโ€™t ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ โ€” ๐—ถ๐˜ ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ป๐˜€, ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ.

We walked dusty roads and climbed hills not to clean them for a day, but to plant seeds that will grow for generations.
We sat with leaders, laughed with children, listened to villagers, and stood with youth โ€” because we believed true change starts from within, from the ground up.

In a country gifted with pristine nature and a deep spiritual connection to the land, we asked the hard questions:

We saw the pain of waste โ€” in the rivers, the forests, the silent animals.
But we also saw hope โ€” in the hands of a child picking up a bottle, in the voice of a youth sharing bold ideas, in the quiet commitment of communities who said, โ€œYes, we care.โ€

This has never been easy. We have no grand titles or big funds. Just a purpose that keeps pulling us forward โ€” and a heart that refuses to give up.

And now, though our Educational programs for sustainable waste management may have ended, but with a new extrusion machine supported by Save the Children,

Letโ€™s give our waste a second life.

Thank you to everyone who walked beside us.
Our journey was made possible by your faith, your support, and your shared love for this land.

This isnโ€™t goodbye. Itโ€™s just the next chapter.
๐Ÿ’š Stay with us. Recycle with us. Dream with us.

Also thanks to the CDEO of Dzongkhag Education Office, Principal, Vice Principal, teachers and all the students of Tsenkharla Central School for letting us conduct this small workshop at your school. We also look forward to the future collaboration with your good school.

Today marks the beginning of our Educational Workshop on Sustainable Waste Management, and what an inspiring start it has been at Bayling Central School! ๐Ÿ™Œ

With the enthusiastic participation of 296 students, we explored Bhutan's current waste situation and introduced the concept of Sustainable Waste Managementโ€”a vital step toward building a cleaner, greener future. ๐ŸŒโœจ

Through interactive sessions and real-world insights, our youth are beginning to understand that waste is not just a problemโ€”it's an opportunity for innovation, responsibility, and action. ๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿ’ช

This program is part of our ongoing efforts under the FSTP project funded by the European Union (EU), initiated in collaboration with Save the Children Bhutan. Together, weโ€™re working to empower young minds and inspire long-term environmental stewardship across communities. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡น

This is just the beginning. Letโ€™s continue to learn, lead, and take actionโ€”because real change starts with awareness, and it starts with us. ๐Ÿ’š

"GreenGenius Hackathon in Sherubtse College."

We want to extend our gratitude to the Science Forum of Sherubtse College for helping us initiate and complete this Green Genius Hackathon (College Edition).
With our Theme, each Forum of Sherubtse College came up with different brilliant ideas to adopt a sustainable waste management approach to effectively address the waste management issues in their college. All four Forums presented four different ideas, which were amazing and inspiring.
Now we look forward to each Forum of the Sherubtse College to soon plan and initiate the idea they have pitched during the competition.
Once again, thank you to Sherubtse College, our Penal judges, the Save the Children Bhutan Office, and the EU for supporting us in initiating such programs.
We also thank our former interns from the college for helping us initiate it so smoothly. โ˜บ๏ธ

Despite your busy schedules and numerous responsibilities, your decision to join our small yet meaningful event speaks volumes about your unwavering support for youth-led initiatives and sustainable community development. Your presence not only honored us but also reinforced the importance of our causeโ€”empowering the younger generation to take ownership of waste management and environmental stewardship.

Congratulations to the team Tsenkharla for winning the Chadhar Challenge 2.0, Senior Level Competition 2025.
For us all the eight Schools in two categories are winners, but since the program just started as a competition to excite our youths, one has to win it ๐Ÿ˜Š. We were overwhelmed by how our students perceived the 'New Chadhar Layrim'
I hope our students will continue the same. Next time I want to see all our schools who have participated in the Chadhar Challenge doing different cleanup campaigns.
Congratulations once again to the team la ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ‰
