We the Yoering-Ma team joined a two days technical consultation on the Bhutan AgriSustain Fund (BAF) brought together experts and stakeholders to shape strategies for resilient, climate-smart, and inclusive agriculture. The insights ensured BAF as a practical, impactful, and rooted in Bhutan’s values.

Where, BAF is a transformative initiative designed to strengthen Bhutan’s agri-food sector in line with the principles of Gross National Happiness and the FAO’s Hand-in-Hand Initiative.

It was launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bhutan and the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

Today, we had the opportunity to participate in a Practice Training Workshop on Self-Sufficient Composting for Farmers in Bhutan and explore the Role of Compost in Plant Cultivation, organized by IGES Japan in collaboration with the National Centre for Organic Agriculture, Bhutan.

The session provided valuable hands-on experience and insightful discussions on composting techniques, promoting sustainable farming, and enhancing soil health through organic practices. 💚🌾
