We're thrilled to announce the launch of "Letters to My Sons" by Map Alumni Lilebo Tibone (Botswana)!
About the Book: So excited to share with you that my book ‘Letters to my sons’ is published and finally here, and I can add Author as one of my hats .
It is a Memoir of sorts dedicated to my sons but really for everyone.
It highlights the challenges we grapple with from childhood to adulthood, topics that people may be ashamed to talk about such as divorce, addiction, mental health, unfulfilled dreams, grief and those that are usually taboo to discuss with our children.
The aim is to bridge the gap and show our kids that we too are human, make mistakes and get hurt. It then offers them some solutions to find ways back from the pain/lessons.
It’s hopefully meant to inspire and empower in a light way and help aid with some of the tough conversations.
I will be launching it in various ways over the next few months with collaborations from schools, some panels and fun dinners so look out for that .
