BNF Members Celebrate Motshegwa’s Defeat Amid Leaked Audio Controversy

Some Botswana National Front (BNF) members are openly celebrating the electoral defeat of Hon. Motshegwa at the party’s congress over the weekend.

A controversial voice note has surfaced, allegedly from Nollen Bome, a public servant in the Office of the President, stating that Motshegwa’s loss was necessary to “save the party.”

The voice note harshly criticizes Motshegwa’s character, describing him as arrogant and divisive. The voice note says, “Monna yo Motshegwa one a tshwanetse go jewa ka gore o bosula hela thata o botlhoko jaaka bompe jwa gagwe because he was so full of himself thinking gore he is the best thing that ever happened to BNF” has sparked debate, raising tensions within party ranks.

Botswana’s Economic Turmoil Deepens as Devaluation Fears Mount

Botswana’s economy is in deep crisis, Finance Minister announced during a tense parliamentary session today. He emphasized the need for carefully considered, strategic decisions to steer the country out of trouble. Members of Parliament raised urgent concerns over a possible devaluation of the P**a, questioning whether it would worsen the current situation.

The minister did not confirm nor deny the move but stressed that any economic decisions must prioritize national interest. Already, many retailers have hiked food prices, triggering public concern. The rising cost of living and uncertainty surrounding monetary policy signal a difficult road ahead for Botswana.

You will always be a part of me, for in the future we will look back and realise that together we share a good history. We contested to win, but the counted results say to us that we lost. While so I am surprised that I feel at peace more than ever in my life, I am at peace with my life.

Dont be heartbroken, be heart healed. Let's accept things as they are and move on in peace. Leaders come and go but organisations remain, so I came, and now left but the organisation remain. Let us continue to believe in the organisation and its ideals, support the elected party leaders wholeheartedly . Let us be guided not by emotions but hope, perseverance and believe in the future.

My attitude in life is that everything happens for a reason, had I won, there would have been a big reason for that to be realised, now that the results indicate that I have lost, also there is a big reason for that to be realised. IT IS WELL.

At the end of it all, It was like attending my own funeral, I witnessed those who came, and those who did not come

Tafic FC Signs Rising Star Tsholofelo “Granola” Speakson

Tafic Football Club has confirmed the signing of 20-year-old winger Tsholofelo Boy Speakson, widely known as “Granola.” The talented attacker joins from Morupule Wanderers, where he spent two successful seasons.

POLITICIAN OF HUNGER

BNF supporters have labelled the former Gaborone City mayor a “politician of hunger” following his recent return to the party.

He had defected to the BDP in August last year, but the BDP lost the election while the UDC emerged victorious. Now that the BNF, a key player in the UDC coalition, is back in power, the former mayor has rejoined.
