*History of Scripture Union (SU):*

Scripture Union began in *England in 1867*, when *Josiah Spiers* shared the gospel with children in a fun and engaging way. He first gathered children in a home, and later, in a holiday beach setting, where he wrote *“God is Love”* in the sand and shared Bible stories.

From there, the movement grew. By the early 20th century, Scripture Union had spread to many countries around the world. It became known for its *Bible reading guides*, *school and youth ministry*, and *Christian camps*.

Today, SU is active in over *120 countries*, helping people, especially the youth, to *know God through the Bible and prayer*.

*Short Sermon: “I Can Do It – Through Faith”*
*Scripture:* *Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”*

*Message:*
Sometimes life feels overwhelming. Challenges come like storms. Fear tells us, “You can’t.” Doubt whispers, “You’ll fail.” But faith shouts, “I can do it!”

Not in your strength—but through Christ. Faith doesn’t deny the mountain; it declares that God is greater than the mountain. When David faced Goliath, he didn’t boast in his sling. He trusted in the Lord.

When we believe, we shift from “I’m not enough” to “God is more than enough.” With Christ, you can pass that exam, overcome that fear, resist that temptation, and walk into your purpose.

*Conclusion:*
Say it boldly: *“I can do it!”* Not because of who I am, but because of *who Christ is in me*.

*Let your faith be louder than your fear.*
