Our First Big Trip in the HJ60! πŸš™πŸŒ

We recently got back from an incredible trip to Senyati Safari Camp in Lesoma β€” our first proper long-distance adventure with the newly finished HJ60! The Cruiser performed like a champ on the open road and handled everything we threw at it with ease. Couldn’t be happier with how it’s coming together! πŸ’ͺπŸ”₯

We were lucky to spend some great quality time with family Gags and Popo, sharing stories around the fire, soaking in the bush sounds, chasing lions and creating new memories as a family.

A massive thank you to Adventures of Brutus for the warm hospitality and hosting us so well β€” always good to connect and share this lifestyle we love.

This is just the beginning β€” the HJ60 is officially road-trip ready!

Test Fitting a light bar that a very close friend gifted us for my birthday!

Quite excited about this mod!

The LED headlights we recently fitted have already made a huge difference! So this will be GREAT!

We will fit this pretty soon and then give it a test run!!

Thanks boet Kyle Riggs ❀️

Our Setup! πŸ‘‡

We have a very basic setup that we are slowly building up.

Water: 140L πŸ’¦
Diesel: 180L
Sleeping: Roof Top Tent ⛺️
Fridge: 40L Engel and Cooler box for dry foods
Lighting: Telescopic Light, roof rack lights (to be fitted)
Cooking: Gas Bottle 3Kg & Burner
Storage: Currently using black ammo boxes. This will soon change to a drawer system in the back of the cruiser.

What we have is basic with the necessary equipment to self sustain for up to 10 Days.

Every trip we do we discover something we can add / remove or change.

We may not have all the fancy new stuff, but we are so grateful for our setup and what it allows us to do!

To anyone reading this, you don’t need all the fancy equipment. You just need to start. Start with the basics.

Get out there and explore! There is nothing quite like the experience of being out in the bush!
