Botswana Warned to Act on Doping or Risk Global Sanctions

Botswana risks being banned from international sport if it fails to tackle doping, warns sports scientist Professor Tshepang Tshube.

“Most of our doping cases are in athletics,” he said on his official page. “We need national laws, empowered police, and strict regulations from BNSC, BNOC, and associations like BAA. We cannot just rely on WADA.” Tshube stressed urgent reforms before Botswana is “red-flagged or sanctioned internationally.”
