Statement from A.T.I family and management below

For Immediate Release

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of A.T.I, a son, a brother, a friend, and a national icon.

A.T.I was more than an entertainer. He was a cultural force, a voice of hope, and a light to countless people who found strength in his music and his message. He lived authentically, gave generously of his talent, and inspired unity and courage in every stage he touched.

Today, Botswana mourns together. We have lost not just an artist, but a national treasure whose legacy will echo through generations.

As we grieve this immeasurable loss, we humbly request privacy for his family as they mourn and prepare funeral arrangements. Details of the memorial will be communicated in due course by the family.

We extend heartfelt gratitude for the prayers, love, and support pouring in from across the country and beyond. Let us remember him not only as the icon he was, but as the son, brother, and friend whose humanity touched us all.

Rest well Lekhete Le Le tona. Your light will never fade.
