STRATEGIC WEALTH HOSTS QUIZ-STYLE SHOWDOWN

Strategic Wealth brought the house down on July 16th with its dynamic Kings of Knowledge game show, transforming trustee training into a thrilling, quiz-style showdown at the Avani Hotel.

From 8am to 11am, trustees from top pension funds, including Bank of Botswana, Botswana Life ànd VIVO Energy competed through three adrenaline-charged rounds, powered by a custom quiz app and buzzing game show energy.

With MC Lynx Maja hyping the crowd and CEO Nadine Davies setting the tone, the event mixed fun with purpose. Gladness Monametsi claimed the Queen of Knowledge crown, with Moabi Tshelane and Gertrude Muzola close behind.

Prizes ranged from dinner vouchers to curated gift boxes, but the real win was the powerful, practical knowledge shared.

From senior execs to fund administrators, trustees left inspired and equipped, proof that Strategic Wealth is revolutionizing training with bold, Botswana-born brilliance.

CREATION BOTSWANA FINALE: DESIGNERS CASH IN ON STYLE AND TALENT

The curtain has officially closed on the Creation Botswana program, and for the participating fashion designers, it ended on a high note.

Emerging labels Ali and Tess Studio and Maru stole the spotlight, each walking away with P100,000, thanks to their standout vision and ex*****on. Prominent brand Glotto also earned recognition, securing a P20,000 prize.

Meanwhile, Botocy Creations, an Afrocentric fashion house led by Botho Chalebgwa, received a special accolade from celebrated designer Rich Mnisi, along with a P20,000 cash prize.

With talent, tenacity, and taste rewarded, Botswana’s next generation of designers are well on their way to shaping the future of fashion.

Botswana's fashion scene is buzzing with excitement as "Creation Botswana," a collaborative program by the National Arts Council of Botswana (NACB), the Alliance Francaise, and the French Embassy, successfully concludes.
