DELAYING ACADEMIC WORK

I am still wondering😏

I wonder who lied to you that you still have time to play,that time is on your side and since you are the controller it will stop ticking until you are ready.
If it ever crossed your mind that you still have time to relax,time for entertainment and to delay school work, my friend I am sorry to say this but thats all a lie.

To those who are cruising nicely ,thinking they will suprise us with an academic comeback around term three(3) be careful ,you might suprise yourselves. If i can ask why not start now? Why do you keep procastinating? whats so special about term 3? why do you like piling work to be done? Why do you want to bury yourself alive? do you enjoy being last?do you enjoy getting unsatisfying marks?do you enjoy showing fake remorse for failing when you know the root cause?

They say time lost never returns and we say it is not yet over until you sit for your final examination.

WE DO NOT STUDY WHEN WE FEEL LIKE

Studying doesnt come with emotions,if you want to reap the best ,it shoudnt be something that we choose to do when we feel like.

Dear reader good harvest is managed.Allow me to compare academics with farming.From the start when a seed is sown ,management practices begin.watering,removal of weeds ,thinning etc.A farmer knows that if they do not carry out the practices then they should forget about the harvest.

Dont you think your low academic perfomance is somehow related to lack of consistency in studying?You only study when there is a quiz,test ,exam or when you have to lead a discussion.Other than that you are at your comfort ,coming to school feels like a burden .

But when exam or test results are released.You are the first to complain,first to point a finger at the teacher.You know that you are the one behind your academic set backs ,but you dont want to take the blame and put it to a change.Why so?

feta rohle is a mission that aims at making sure that students reach their target goals and achieve academic excellence. The mission founders are motivators at heart ,their motivations are entertaining yet educational at the same tym.they sometime depict motivation in poetry to grab the attention of students. They share study strategies and tricks,give educational advises and do students mentorship.Their aim is to enrich the future with academic excellence by elevating to the top and to curb high failure rates in Botswana which eventually lead to social concerns like su***de

WHY THE SETSWANA NAME?
RE FETA ROHLE is a setswana name ,symbolizing success " all make it to another level" as you may be aware that when student reach form 3 and 5 ,the chaff are separated from the wheat and the chaff is thrown away. feta rohle is all about moulding them to be the wheat and elevate to another fruitfull stage.

Scream for help

Most of the times students have the opportunity to express themselves,either at school or at home .They never care to do, and this is what sents many of them to an early grave.

Normalise telling your parents that you are failing at school.yep you read it right (go a pala/go thata/o a retelelwa) Is it something to shy about? I dont think so.To us as Re Feta Rohle this is a cry for help ,a way of preventing suprises during report collection.

A cry for help?what do you mean by that?do you know how strict my parents are?

Nobody wants their child to fail at school ,hence the reason why many shout during report collection.A happy parent is the one who knows their child is doing well at school.Once you express yourself ,the parent becomes compassionate ,they seek for help in any way they can.If it mean tuition ,they will do so.Special education ,they go an extra mile.Because you screamed for help.

There is no shame in that.Not all are gifted academically.but we have this saying "di siame" i.e di tsamaya yang ko skolong ditlhaka? "di siame"

Deep down o itse gore ga di a siame di go tswere ka mometso ebile di tlaa ka wena o tshela.

Same applies at school during lessons.Normalise telling your teachers that you do not comprehend/understand what they are teaching about.But we always choose to go with the flow why? i.e "do we all understand?" The answer always the same "yes mam"

Let aside pride and fear.learn to express yourself ,scream for help and be different.You can do better.

THINGS/HABITS THAT ONE SHOULD AVOID DOING THAT WOULD EVENTUALLY LEAD TO FAILURE.

Academic excellence is all about paving way for greater achievements and that is not cheap,it comes at a price and that is sacrifice. You need to identify the bad habits learned and erase in order to boost ur academic battery.what if one cant identify the bad habits? Then no need to worry Re Feta Rohle got your back🤗

1:procrastination
A bad habit of postponing work to be done.

2:not asking for help when you do not understand

3:copying work from other students without comprehending

4:having a negative attitude towards the subject or subject teacher.you will hate the subject and worry not in excellence for that particular subject

5:not writing corrections after getting the answers wrong.you will repeat the same mistakes and that would make one to be associated with one of the nincompoops.

6:uttering words like"i will fail i.e sciences are not for me, school is a scam then you will eventually fail.the words add to your attitude towards the subject .

7: boosting about your academic excellence......it gives you too much pride making you think that you have overcome the world hence one becomes too relaxed with their academic lifestyle leading to REDUCED ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

8:lack of punctuality/coming late to lessons....you will miss important points same applies to missing school days for no relevant reason.

9:not preparing for presentations when one is asked to do so. Who knows ?maybe your next test or exam covers the topic of your presentation
