Why I Started a Podcast in Belize
I started making this podcast for a few reasons. First, I’ve always wanted to try something like this. Second, I have a lot of thoughts and opinions that I enjoy sharing. Third, there are not that many podcasts being created by Belizeans for Belizeans yet and I hope to help change that. Fourth, as a regular consumer of podcasts myself I want to try to encourage more Belizeans to make podcast listening a regular part of how they get information and entertainment. Brent’s Two Cents is a weekly podcast that covers politics, society, culture, current events, and just about anything else that is on my mind or the minds of other Belizeans. I really hope that listeners will participate by sharing their own thoughts by leaving voice messages on Whatsapp (+501-601-8730) that I can include in every episode. Thank you for reading this, and most importantly thank you for listening! This podcast is not a business venture for me, it’s strictly a labour of love. I’ll keep putting out episodes every week as long as you keep listening.
