Well I managed a new personal best 1/4 mile time in my 2026 Audi RS3 last weekend at Tunerbash. I managed an 11.3 @ 120mph while utilizing a JB4, running Map 4 on E20, with all OEM hardware except for wheels/tires and lowering springs.

So far it's been a bit of a nightmare using the JB4 because the car kept breaking up and misfiring on Map 4 E20 and Map 5 E30. After God only knows how many logs back & forth with George Bms from Burger Motorsports we have now figured out that it is physically impossible to run Map 5 E30 at sea level with my RS3. It's a shame because I was hoping to utilize the JB4 at its max potential before the end of the drag racing season which is only a couple weeks away for me now. We also figured out that I needed to tighten my spark plug gap to 0.022 to ensure I wasn't experiencing spark blow out. Which is insane to think at only 23psi.

I was reasonably happy with the performance gain I saw improving my ET from an 11.6 to an 11.3 and my trap speed from a 114mph to 120mph with just a little bit of ethanol and a JB4, but overall my experience with my 8Y.2 has still been shi$astic. All of the electronic, sensor, MMI, transmission and other issues I've had have kind of ruined it for me. I'm praying there are eventually some updates that rectify some of the issues I'm having. Luckily I have a bit of performance that I can have fun with now with this JB4 installed.

After owning my 2026 Audi RS3 for a few months now I decided to finally bring it out to the drag strip. I managed an 11.6 at 114mph. It felt slow as molasses 🤣, but at least I had some fun racing cars that ran similar times to me.

The straight line performance has always been fun in my RS3's, but this 8Y.2 has been terrible compared to my 8V. This 8Y.2 has been LOADED with issues and I'm not really happy with the car at all. We'll see if Audi sorts some of them out with updates, but overall I regret purchasing this vehicle. In hindsight I should have done a deep dive searching for a low mileage 2018 Audi RS3 and enjoyed what I already knew to be an incredible platform.

Back when I was going quicker and faster than your average RS3 owner, I used to frequently get asked how I was achieving those results and I always gave 1 of 3 responses:

1) If I made a video on the topic, I simply sent them the link seeing as I spent the time, energy & money to already explain it (in great detail) via a YouTube video

2) If I had never answered the question in a video before, I helped as best I could (if it didn't contain any "secret sauce")

3) If it did contain part of the 5% "secret sauce" that we don't share with the public (which I was openly bashed, trashed, made fun of and trolled over repeatedly) because I didn't feel it was fair that we did all the work to figure the "secret sauce" out and then the public just "demanded" I tell them so they could get the same results.

Today was the last time we'll be filming my 2018 Audi RS3 with Marcus from Marcus Vandenberg. This was the first time I had anyone ride shotgun with me while I unleashed every drop of power & torque it makes.

Just seeing the giant sh$t eating grin on Marcus' face after the first pull made it ALL worth while 🤣 Thanks again for the great morning of filming! Can't wait to see the final product on your channel.
