Finally done my Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology! A lot of mixed emotions came in on this day! I know my education journey wouldn't have been possible without the support of my family, friends, and faculty. On this day, I was reminded that anything is possible even with children and challenges. I was reminded of the fire i had in me to show it's possible.
For all those people who said it wasn't it was possible. For all the relatives who said oh your dad's job is scrap metal, you don't have the means to do further education past university." Well, here you go. I did it!! I'm not saying this to make the people who said crap to feel bad but to remind people that stop saying stuff cause sometimes it's discouraging, but sometimes it's the fire you need to keep going. I'm happy to say that I kept going cause I wanted to show others it's possible with children, after marriage, at the age of 34!
On that note, I want to thank my sister, my husband, my mother , my father,my best friend, my friends ,my in laws for helping me in this journey. Words are not enough to say how thankful I am for this support.
One thing I want to tell everyone is that Age is just a number, education doesn't have age. You can achieve what you want to achieve, and don't be scared to start and never give up!
Final notes: Yes, I'm going to keep studying. Next stop I will announce it when I figure it out!!!
Woohooo I did it!!!!♥️♥️👩🎓🎓 #2024
