It’s been amazing but it’s time to say Gσσ∂-Вує 💙

This may be a temporary decision and you may see Cheerfully Lit back in the future but for right now I will be closing up shop.

This community has been the best part of running a small business and it’s going to be the thing I miss the most! As I pursue my accounting education, desire to paint and spending time family and friends, I just can’t keep up the business.

I’ll be spending my instagram time over on my art page if you’d like to join me there; and I hope you do 🥰

My favourite person and favourite being! I don’t share a lot of My husband here but today I’ll introduce you! Meet Andrew! I could prob do this small biz on my own but I wouldn’t want to. He definitely has an impact on what I do and how I do. When things are tough he helps me through and reminds me it’ll all be ok and I can do hard things. And he celebrates the wins with me.

Kasey is our 13 year old pup. We got her as a wedding gift to each other. Kasey is sassy, demanding and so curious. She has such a unique personality. You’ve seen Kasey’s face on here a few times.

As we enjoy Family Day together I hope that you are able to enjoy today with your loved ones!

Today, is a good reminder that the smallest acts of kindness can go a long way for someone. You never know what struggles someone else is going through.
Let that driver merge infront of you; hold the door for the person behind you; smile (with your eyes … we’ll because, face masks) to the person you walk by; send a message to a friend to say hi and that you are thinking about them. Don’t underestimate the impact the small acts of kindness can have on someone’s day; even yours!

Tʜᴇ Fɪʀsᴛ Bᴜʀɴ 🔥

A candle’s first burn is so important. Always give the. Candle enough burning time to melt the wax from edge to edge. This will ensure a nice even melt pool of wax. Blowing out the candle before you get this melt pool (edge to edge) will create a wall of wax around the outer edge of the container. This is called tunnelling (or memory rings). The candle will tunnel causing the life of the candle to decrease significantly. Eventually the wick will down in the wax making the candle unburnable.

CANDLE TIP: TRIM THE WICK

Every time you go to light your candle make sure you trim that wick. YES! Before every burn. This will lengthen the life of your candle; as well as reduce soot. If you don’t trim the wick, the flame will become too hot and burn the wax too faster and may affect your scent!
