On Dec 4, 2024, Cape Breton garage rock trio The Boojums released a music video for their debut single, Outta My Head. When their online distributor failed to deliver the song to streaming services on time, the band acted quickly.
They set up an old camera and started recording. Standing atop a false-grass carpet and armed with a Fender Jaguar, Hagstrom 8-string bass and a sparkly Gretsch drum kit, the band performed their song.
An hour later, the video was published on YouTube.
