Two weeks ago and I had the opportunity to pitch our new film project at the for the BanffPitch competition.

It was an incredible experience to pitch our film to a live audience and jury - a first time for both of us! We’re very happy with how we presented, and grateful to have placed 3rd.

This happened amidst a jam-packed 10 days participating in the Banff Adventure Filmmaking Workshop, which was full of great information and lovely people.

I arrived home happy and exhausted - yet energized to take this project to the next step! Stay tuned!

SO excited to head back to the this year!

Last year I got to present my first doc, Carved from Stone, and came home super inspired by the films and filmmakers I got to spent the week with.

THIS year, while I’m not presenting a finished film, I’ll be there for two exciting reasons:

1️⃣ I’ll be doing their 10-day Adventure Filmmakers Workshop, and
2️⃣ I’ll be presenting a new film project to get funded through their new BANFF Pitch competition 🤞

And that’s a wrap for Carved from Stone at the 👏

I spent celebrating adventure and creativity with so many incredible athletes and storytellers (and a surprising number of old friends!), and I’m home with new levels of inspiration, and lots that I’ve learned from fellow creators 🙏

I was so glad to get to bring New Brunswick and the East Coast climbing scene to the Banff screen!
