Canada Strong!
Through the Canada Strong Pass, the Government of Canada is offering free admission and discounted overnight stays at Parks Canada administered places from December 12, 2025 to January 15, 2026 (inclusive).
â Banff National Park is busy year-round, especially during the holidays. It is essential to and make appropriate preparations if you choose to visit the park.
Things to know:
đ Reservations are required for campgrounds. A 25% discount will be refunded on all sites reserved during this period â no action is required.

đ˛ Fees still apply to programs and services that are not usually included with admission like parking and fire permits.

đŖī¸ Banff East Gate will be open â all other park gates will not be staffed during this time. Visitor centres will remain open with regular operating hours. For any questions or more information:
