Everyone had a great time at the Cinema Social organized by Adrienne Mazzuchelli from the City of North Bay Economic Development Department. Last night, the Iceland team enjoyed an incredible dining experience at Sumac Grill + Drinks! Earlier in the day, they had the privilege of interviewing chef de cuisine Jakob Zarioh Baldvinsson, and got to witness the preparation of meat sourced directly from Jóhanna's goat farm. Later, they were delighted to enjoy the very same meat they had seen the restaurant prepare. Truly an amazing culinary journey! 🤩🍽️

Our team had the joy of interviewing Isaac Ely today in Toronto for “The Immigrant Story.” As Iranian teens, Isaac and his cousin, fled the Iran-Iraq war at 15, escaping to Turkey. Captured, imprisoned, and returned to Iran, they persevered, securing passports, and making their way to Toronto. Isaac is now a successful business owner and relies on the universe to give him signs of which path to venture down. He is an extremely positive person and has an inspirational outlook on life, which he says is because of his journey. Team B had the privilege of talking to Dmitri Zheltovski for our new upcoming documentary, “The Immigrant Story.” Born in Siberia, Russia, Dmitri arrived in Louisiana at 15 through an exchange program his parents wanted him to have the opportunity to do. He conquered the world of math, secured a scholarship to LSU, and now holds a PhD. Stay tuned for his inspiring tale, and more updates and behind the scenes sneak peeks! 🎬🌟
