☾ I was lucky enough to receive 33 completed Tarot cards for The Blue Tarot, a project that is currently being funded through Kickstarter. Kateryna, an artist in Ukraine poured her heart and soul into making a gorgeous deck with high quality materials. Her story on how this deck was born is truly inspirational.

She took her sorrow from the wartime and transmuted it into something beautiful. In a world where there is a lot of darkness and hateful people, there is still hope. People will continue to create and make beautiful things no matter what. You cannot diminish love and creativity.

Yes there are ways to improve in traditional forms of meditation and it definitely has it's benefits. However, did you know that there are other forms of meditation that you may enjoy more? I even have found that these non-traditional types of meditation have helped me improve with my traditional meditation too! Why take the time to “bond” to your tarot deck?

Because it improves your practice!

Taking the time to dive deep with a specific deck (and it can be tarot or oracle), will help you better read the cards, connect more with the imagery, as well as strengthen your intuition and your confidence with your readings.

Sometimes we can get a little carried away with buying the latest decks and many of us have massive deck collections. While this can be a lot of fun, sometimes we don’t always give each deck the love and attention they deserve!

Believe me, I’m also guilty of this!

But I have found that the longer I spend dedicated to one particular deck, diving deep and really getting to know its energy, the more magickal my readings are!

I just posted a video on my YouTube channel where I share with you my own practices for diving deeper with my decks, in hopes that they also help you on your own journey!
