Happy World Sound Healing Day! 🥰
Sound healing has ancient roots all around the world with varying instruments, from gongs, chimes and drums to tuning forks, singing bowls and more. We see some of the first uses of sound healing in Australia over 40,000 years ago with the didgeridoo.
But it’s only in more recent years that scientists have been conducting more research and beginning to understand the positive impact that sound and frequency can have on our bodies and minds.
Studies have found significant improvement in post-treatment participants in regard to anxiety, depression, stress, as well as reduction in physical pain and tension.
Although we are still very much in the early stages of research in fully understanding how sound healing works on the body, more and more people are turning to it because they notice the benefits it has on their well being.
Sound healing is something that has had a huge positive impact on my own life. I find it very relaxing and peaceful to play my singing bowls after a stressful day. Or use my drum to help release any negative emotions that are built up in my body.
My goal is to share more sound healing with you this year as I believe everyone can benefit from it. ❤️
I am very excited to be sharing an in-person sound healing experience in September at the Awakened Healing Fall 2025 Retreat, hosted by Tal from
