Happy Thanksgiving Day, Pool Fam! 🎱❤️🔥
Hopefully you all got to spend some time this weekend with loved ones, reflecting on what you’re grateful for. I definitely have — and I want to share some of that.
Absolutely first and foremost, I’m beyond thankful for the people who raised me: my mom and dad. Without them, truly, I’m nothing — this entire stream is nothing. They’re always the first to celebrate my wins and the first to offer a shoulder after my losses. I’m sure many of you feel the same about your parents — words just can’t describe how much they've done and how they'd go to the ends of the earth to see us happy.
I still think back to that one Saturday morning in third grade when my dad came home with a big clunky Compaq desktop PC running Windows XP — this would be my very first computer and the domino that started my constantly growing technological curiosity.
Secondly, I’m thankful for my brother Deep — without him, I honestly would’ve never fallen in love with pool 10 years ago. It was just one of his many hobbies at the time (there were a lot) haha but little did we know the grip it would hold on us. Definitely can't leave out my pup Bella who keeps my feet warm on those late nights at the desk- the strong silent type yknow 😂?
And of course for my family’s health, happiness, and well-being — I’m endlessly grateful to you God.
Lastly, I’m thankful for ALL TPS followers! You guys are what motivate me to strive for the best, the fuel that really keeps the fire going. When I’m up at 3 a.m., eyes burning from talking to ChatGPT or debating on a full Amazon cart of gear, all I can think about is you guys. As that follower count grows, I hold my duty closer to heart- each and every one of you plays a part.
Meeting more of you lovely folks in our Ontario pool community day by day- we should all be so grateful for all the tournament directors, league operators, inspiring teachers, venue owners, and overall advocates of the game we have here.
I’d be remiss if I didn't take the time to mention some people who’ve found a special place in my heart for your support of the stream— some of you have been here since LITERALLY DAY ONE. Some of you have been there for me by keeping my head up and screwed on by reminding me that I'm human; recognizing and showing me such grace in my weaknesses. Some of you have always lent me your ears and voice and given me valuable advice that I never take lightly; some of you are always there to tune in, leave a like, share my posts, and spread the word to help me grow the page.
Please forgive me if I missed any names, but just know — I see you and I appreciate you 🫶🏼
