Dear Single,💐❤️

*****WHEN YOU ARE TO CHOOSE*****

When I was single, most of the suitors I had lived abroad. 🤑

Apart from the fact that I had traveled out of Nigeria before, I just did not let the fact that someone lives abroad freak me.

There was someone in particular who made it seem like coming abroad was a big deal when choosing a life partner and oh he boasted 🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️

One thing I believed is that God created the world and He is everywhere and he knows everything, and for sure, if it is His will, he will let me marry someone overseas.

Lo and behold, when God would choose, he chose a humble brother living in Imo state.

To make it even funnier, he did not have so much but he was God fearing and very hardworking.

He served God with all he had and God was with him all the way.

Well, to cut the long story short, we live abroad today.

I’m not saying living abroad is EVERYTHING, but at least it’s a good place to be and some things are a lot easier abroad than where we left. ✅

****************************

My point in all these:

Dear Single,

- Don’t let anyone make you choose out of FEAR of tomorrow, giving you a mindset of «if you don’t choose me now, you will regret it tomorrow »

Your tomorrow is in God’s hands and if he says ‘’No’’ he knows why.
Just obey him.

- Do not let material things like money, decide who you should marry.
God is the maker of all things and He has power to give wealth. 👌🏻

- Regardless of the brother’s current financial situation, God can really bless him tomorrow.

Someone who does not have today will have more than enough tomorrow.

Simply let the HOLY SPIRIT guide you.

Allow God choose for you because He knows the end from the beginning.
No matter the financial situation of whoever He leads you to, as long as you are in His will. Trust me, He will BLESS it greatly.

God’s promise in Jeremiah 29:11 is that he will give you an expected end.
Hold on to that.
God is not like human beings, he is GOD.

If he says it, He will definitely, definitely do it!!
So, TRUST Him.
If he says let them go, please 🙏🏼 let them go.

He knows why.
He knows what he’s doing.

We don’t know anything but he made and knows EVERYTHING.

I truly pray for you from my heart, that may you not miss the will of God for you in marriage, in Jesus name, amen 🙏🏼

God bless you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Dear Single, 💐❤️

*******DON’T LISTEN*******

You see this photo right here, I was about 7months pregnant with Sam.
I will tell something that was commonly said about me this time.

I was in Ontario (I live in Regina but travelled to Ontario to have my daughter) and there I stayed with my big mummy. Whenever her friends visited, they would say “this small girl, already pregnant? Na wa oh”
My big mummy would then tell them “no, she is married oh, over a year now sef”

Then they would be like “wow! She’s so young.”
My big mummy would then say “she’s already thirty-something “ 😂🤣🤣 just to say I am not a small girl nor too young 😂

She would give a very big number lol 🤣

Now, let me take you back ;
When I was single in Nigeria, many people would ask me “Sister Esther, when are we coming to eat wedding rice ooh?” OR “Sister Esther, when is the day? We are ready with our shoes and clothes ooh” etc., and these questions kept coming BUT I never listened.

Why?
Because I don’t OWN my time, God does. I have never owned my time, God has always had it.
He is God, remember?!

I don’t even know what I’m doing sometimes, but he knows exactly how to figure it out and make it work.
From this story, learn something important; When I was single, to some people, I was getting old.
When I got married and became heavily pregnant, to some people, I was suddenly too young and looked like a child, who is already pregnant.

So which one is it?

The point is not my age. The point is not my height. The point is not how I looked.
*

*
The point is this: PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS TALK!
*

*
If you are single, they will talk.
If you get married “late,” they will talk.
If you get married “early,” they will talk.
If you have children quickly, they will talk.
If you delay having children, they will talk.

So you must decide whose voice matters.
Don’t listen to JUST any report or any voice.
Look for the voice of God and his report concerning you. In the scriptures, we have been asked :
“Whose report will ye believe? We shall believe the report of the Lord.” [Isaiah 53:1]

Dear Single, CHOOSE to believe God’s timing over people’s opinions!

I did not defend myself.
I did not argue.
I did not panic.
I smiled and allowed God to handle my story.
I prayed and watched God work behind the scene.
I trusted him and let him handle the rest.

And He showed up!

He brought my husband at the right time.
Not too early, not too late.
At the right time.

The Bible affirms that:

“He hath made every thing beautiful in his time.” [Ecclesiastes 3:11]

Not in their time.
Not in family pressure time.
Not in society’s timeline.

In His time. 👌🏻

When you let God do the work instead of complaining, instead of comparing, instead of forcing, He will show up in ways that silence voices without you saying a word.🤗

“The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:14 🙏🏼

Instead of listening to people, listen to Him.

Instead of absorbing their pressure, absorb His promises.

Instead of adjusting your life to satisfy commentary, align your life to satisfy calling.

Because when God writes your story, it will confuse critics and glorify Him at the same time. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

I pray for you today, that you will not rush because of external pressure, but trust God so deeply that when He finally shows up in your story, you will know it was worth every ignored voice.
You will not miss it in Jesus name, amen. 🙏🏽

God bless you ❤️❤️❤️

Dear Single, 💐❤️

******WHY YOU SHOULD ALLOW GOD*****

This was me, some hours after giving birth to my first baby in 2023. 🥹

Facially, I was looking very different from what hubby used to know.
My face had changed.
My skin tone or color had changed.
My nose was oh my… so BIG 😂

Sincerely, I used to read stories about men who start disliking their wives because of the physical changes pregnancy brings.
I used to hear about women who felt insecure because their bodies were no longer the same. And even though not all men react that way, those stories can sit somewhere in your mind.

But let me tell you something.

Hubby was very supportive.
Even when I would look at myself and say, “I have turned so ugly,” he would calmly respond, “You are even more beautiful now.”
Meanwhile, in my mind, I did not believe him at all because the mirror was telling me a completely different story 😂🤣😂

But here is my point.

In your worst moments, you need a companion who chooses to understand.

You need a spouse who will still feel drawn to you when life changes your appearance.
A spouse who will still appreciate you when circumstances stretch you.
A spouse who will stay when it would be easier to withdraw.

There will be seasons in marriage that test attraction.
Pregnancy.
Hormonal imbalance.
Postpartum depression.
Weight changes.
Health challenges.
Financial strain.
Career losses.
Emotional exhaustion, etc
There will be days when you do not look like your best version and do not even feel like yourself.

That is when the true heart of a spouse is revealed.

It could be a time when you cannot have a child.
It could be a time when you just lost your job.
It could be a season when your business collapses.
It could be a period of illness or deep discouragement.

In those moments, you do not just need romance. You need covenant.
You need someone who understands commitment beyond convenience.

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Notice it says when they fall, NOT if life is always perfect.

Marriage is not sustained by butterflies.
It is sustained by character.
It is sustained by patience.
It is sustained by a heart that has been shaped by God.

Why am I telling you this as a single?

So you do not rush into marriage because of loneliness.

So you do not choose someone based only on chemistry.

So you do not mistake attention for covenant.

When you allow God to patiently do His work in you and in the one He is preparing for you, He builds something deeper than attraction.

He builds endurance. He builds compassion.

He builds a love that does not panic when seasons change.
*
*
*
*
*
*
*
“The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me.” Psalm 138:8

Does marriage concern you?

So, if marriage does concerns you, then, let God perfect it!
Do not force it!
Do not rush it!
Do not drag yourself into something that looks good now but cannot survive pressure later.

The right spouse will not only celebrate you in your glow.
They will stand beside you in your growth.
They will love you through transitions.
They will honor you in vulnerability.
They will stay when circumstances shift.
Most importantly, they will help you make heaven.

Be patient enough to let God lead you to that kind of love.
❤️
❤️
❤️
I pray for you today, that God will align you with a spouse who will love you in every season, that you will not settle for temporary affection, and that the covenant He writes for you will withstand every storm. Amen. 🙏🏽

God bless you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Someone needs to hear this 🔥🔥

Dear Single, 💐❤️

******WILL IT EVER HAPPEN?*******

Be honest.
Have you ever whispered that question to yourself when no one was around?
Not loudly. Not dramatically. Just quietly… in your thoughts.

After another wedding invitation.
After another year passes.
After another birthday.
After another relationship that did not work.

“Will it ever happen for me?”

You love God.
You trust Him.
You know the Scriptures, but, sometimes knowledge and emotions do not sit in the same place.
Your faith says one thing, but your heart feels another.

You are not doubting God’s power.
You are questioning His plan for you.

And that question does not make you weak. It makes you simply human because you want to know why things are not going the way you expect or the way you have planned.

I know you have asked yourself this question a few times or even more. 🥺🥺🥺
But let me answer you gently and firmly today.

Yes. Whenever God authors it for you, that is when it will happen.

The length of the wait does not determine the certainty of the promise.

Time does not cancel what God has written.

Delay does not erase destiny.

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time… though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3

Surely means surely, NOT maybe, NOT almost, NOT partially.

If marriage is part of your divine blueprint, it is not hanging in uncertainty.
It is secured in God’s timing.

The problem is that waiting magnifies fear.
The longer you wait, the louder the lies become.

You begin to measure your future by your age.

You begin to compare your life to others.

You begin to assume that because it has not happened yet, it may never happen at all.

But God does not operate on human panic.

“He hath made every thing beautiful in his time.” Ecclesiastes 3:11

His time is not careless.
His time is not forgetful.
His time is deliberate.

What is meant for you cannot pass you.
What is written for you cannot be stolen from you.
What God has prepared for you will not require you to beg, chase, or compromise your convictions.

Sometimes the reason it feels like nothing is happening is because God is aligning details you cannot see.
Hearts are being shaped.
Circumstances are being arranged.
Seasons are being prepared.

You are not waiting in vain.
You are waiting in process.

And one day, the same question that made you cry will become the testimony that makes you grateful.

It will be your turn soon, in Jesus name, amen 🙏🏼

I sincerely pray for you, that every fear behind that question will be silenced in the name of Jesus, and that fresh confidence in God’s plan will rise within you now in Jesus name, amen 🙏🏼
What God has ordained for your life will manifest in a way that leaves no room for doubt, in Jesus name, amen. 🙏🏽

God bless you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
