1. These babies are FAT!
2. They're the same age, 7 days old.
3. The line has produced dwarves in past, so there is a remote possibility the size difference here is due to dwarfism, however time will tell.

Pikachu and Garfield's babies are doing so great! They're turning into lovely little sausage rolls, chunking up very nicely!
With a litter of 10, I sometimes don't expect to see babies quite this big. It can be demanding on the mother to produce enough milk for everyone. Pika has this nailed, though and I'm so proud of her!

Bewitched Rattery (WTCH)'s
Persy (Persimmon)

Black, Berkshire, Silvermane, Dumbo
Parents: STEL Ren x WTCH Peach
Born: March 10, 2025.

Persy. Persimmon.
I probably should have named her Charisma, or Personality.
She's such an entertaining little rat. Always a silly face or a cute pose when I ask for photos.
Add to that, she's STUNNING.
Persy is one of my Pride and Joy.

So far, Persy has produced one litter for me, The Persy Cats, sired by WTCH Reiko. Her offspring were absolutely squishy and have both parents' temperament. She was an excellent, attentive, calm mother; completely unbothered anytime I checked on her and the litter.

I'm pleased to say that Persy will be pairing up again to produce another litter. I'd planned to repeat the pairing of Persy and Reiko, but unfortunately we lost Reiko a little while ago.

Persy is a gorgeous expression of the Silvermane gene, and I'm very proud of her for both her personality and appearance. She will be assisting me in producing Silvermane dwarves eventually.

Persy is a very affectionate rat, and eagerly seeks out human attention and affection. She loves to be petted and loved on, and gives unlimited kisses.
She is also content to snuggle up against my chest under my shirt or sweater, or in my hood. She's not the biggest fan of shoulder rides, as she'd rather be held.
She is easy to handle, and compliant. She doesn't object to much of anything. She's gentle taking food, very polite. And boy, does she love food! I almost wonder if Persy loves everything. She always seems happy, and gets along with all the other rats. She's a big snugglebug in the cage, too.

Persy's character and temperament are the embodiment of the sort of rat I strive to produce.
