Who knew 30 could look so good? 🐪✨

Last week, we celebrated three incredible decades - and it couldn’t have been a more perfect evening.

Surrounded by friends, family, clients, and creative partners, along with plenty of laughs and heart, we were reminded why we love what we do, and who we’re lucky to do it with.

Here’s to 30 years of Flying Camel, and to everything still ahead.

During planning for Flying Camel’s 30th anniversary celebration, I received very sad news. I want to take a moment to honour my former business partner, Dave Wylie, who passed away earlier this month at the age of 83.

Dave and I worked together at a small ad agency in Paris, Ontario, and to me, he WAS the talent - a renowned creative director with an impressive track record. When he left that agency and invited me to start a new one (soon to be named Flying Camel), I had little experience. But Dave believed in me and there was no question in my mind that I wanted to be his partner.

He had a sharp mind, a dry wit, and a strong sense of what made a great idea. We respected each other, stayed in our lanes, and built something that lasted.

Dave retired after ten years at Flying Camel, trading ad life for more time with his wife Kathleen, travel, good food, and wine. I’ll always be grateful to him for taking a chance on me and helping lay the foundation of this agency.

Rest well, Dave — and thank you. We'll be toasting to you at the party on June 5th. xxoo
