BMW has unveiled the new GS Trophy Competition bike, which is based on the R 12 G/S. As the name suggests, the bike is designed exclusively for competition and is fully equipped to deal with the rigours of extreme off-roading. It has a full suite of electronics, which are meant to complement your off-road riding skills and help the bike get across the toughest terrain imaginable. And there are bits like 18-inch (rear) and 21-inch (front) wheels shod with full off-road tyres, engine protection bars, cylinder head covers, a Rally-style cockpit fairing, an Akrapovič silencer and a host of optional accessories.
