• Deep shoot-the-s**t with a special guest near and dear to my heart—Porkishi (Christopher Duarte), the Portuguese savage. 🎙️ We were set to talk indie grind, RCW/CanAm goods & bads, betrayal scars, and staying neutral in this cutthroat business. He was due at 6pm… but he’s a no-show so far—my DMs from Savage Media aren’t getting through. We’ll see if he pops back up, but either way, we got real tea from his recent rants to unpack if he doesn’t show. Respect to Chris—he’s a good dude who’s been through similar s**t I have.

Years back, when CanAm Wrestling got pulled off the shelf and revived, I jumped in full-time—the first year it came back. Key Employee s**t.

I was grinding hard at the Alberta Wrestling Academy alongside Otto Gentile. Truth? The original idea for a podcast called Savage Talks?

YUP. That came from Otto. He pitched it as something we could run right out of the academy, powered by CanAm Wrestling in Partnership with the AWA. I’d host, he’d be the main recurring guest, and we’d drop unfiltered episodes on training, the local scene, matches, recaps, all of it.

It never happened. Not one episode.
That dream got buried under the same poison that eventually buried a lot of good people—lies, false hopes, listening to the wrong voices who just wanted to tear someone down.

Thus, Otto burned me and my family after all those years of loyalty and sacrifice. What started as brotherhood turned into betrayal. He ruined our relationship, our friendship, everything because lisenting to others threats scared him. For him to block me and never fu***ng talk to me again? That shows exactly what kind of man Otto Gentile really is.

Leaving showed me how much I LOST chasing something that was NEVER real. But one thing that didn’t die: Savage Talks.

I took the name Otto originally sparked… and made it mine, gave it some fire, raw energy Otto originally only sparked… and as always I made it mine. No more “powered by” anyone. No more waiting for approval. No more filters. Just me—unedited, unfiltered, raw as f**k. That’s who I am. That’s what you all keep coming back for.

Savage Talks isn’t a CanAm thing never was. It’s a Danny Savage thing. And I won’t lose it. I will make this the most talked-about podcast in the scene—hard truths, indie dirt, real stories, no apologies, shoot with guests etc.
