Be grateful for the bills you receive by being grateful for the services provided!

1. I am truly blessed with a great landlord! The rent I pay is reasonable and includes all the things I need, power, water, cable, internet and even my furnishings! Thank you thank you thank you
2. I am so happy and grateful that I have a cell phone that allows me to stay in touch with all those I hold dear. Thank you thank you thank you
3. I am truly grateful for a reliable car and the service center that maintains it and swaps my tires to meet each season. Thank you thank you thank you
4. With all my heart, thank you for movie channels! Hours of entertainment, documentaries and shows to take the mind where ever it needs to go. Thank you thank you thank you
5. I am truly blessed to have the convenience of a credit card that builds loyalty points to earn a little back with each dollar I spend even though I never carry a balance. Thank you thank you thank you
6. I am so happy and grateful that the insurance I pay gives me peace of mind that if things go badly I am covered for the financial losses and can rest easy knowing that my car can be replaced. Thank you thank you thank you
7. I am truly grateful for the RMT treatments I receive as they help keep my body moving with less pain. Thank you thank you thank you
8. With all my heart, thank you for all the food stores that help me to meet all my nutritional needs. Thank you thank you thank you
9. I am truly blessed to watch my money grow as abundance follows my gratitude. Thank you thank you thank you

Connecting with Nature - A Moment Caught in the Lens

"Love the world as though you were yourself: then you will truly care for all things." - Tao Te Ching

My friend Trudie and I were in Comox taking pictures when I focused my lens on this person way out there - just standing as the birds circled, dived, and continued to indulge themselves in the Herring spawn that was taking place.
This picture, for me, resonates a connection with the water, mountains, and the birds.
The day was getting on and you can see the faint red glow of the sun on the water. The tall, snowy mountains appear so large in the background.
We are so small and insignificant in this beautiful world. Yet, we are a part of it. And the Tao tells us that we are not just a 'part' of this world, but that we 'are' this world.
The Tao reminds us that the reason we don't connect with the world is because we have an 'I'.
The 'I' is the ego.
