If our house is clean, it's for 5 minutes!

Homes are meant to be lived in. And that means using our toys, wearing several pairs of shoes every day, and not always having time to clean up!

And it's ok! 💜

Sometimes all plans go out the window.

Rescheduled today's chiropractor and dentist appointments as my son spiked a fever at 2 am.

And we roll with it!

Those emails can wait, meal prepping will happen another day, and the toys will just get taken out of the box in 5 minutes again anyways right?

Returning to work after mat leave was really difficult for me both times.

Having 2 kids under 5 and working has been draining me in ways I didn't know were possible.

I had searched for months for "work from home jobs", "online jobs", etc.

Finally I came across this Canadian business in a box opportunity and I'm so glad I did.

It doesn't mean I'm ready to quit my job, it doesn't mean it is replacing my income overnight.

But it's a legitimate business (you get a T4) and there's built-in guidance, mentors and a step-by-step process.

Wow my kids are small but strong!

You might be wondering who I am and why I started an online business!

As a mom of 2, my RN career is becoming increasingly challenging to manage.

Missing out on family time and holidays is really hard.

I started this business so that I can start earning an income on the side and be able to have more time at home.

I still work as a part time RN, but it's not taking all of my energy any more.

There is hope out there, it is possible to bring in an income and still be present for your family!

My inspiration for building an online business:

Getting to have time to spend with my kids. Meaningful time where I can be present, where I can teach them, laugh with them and create a good relationship with them.

Not having small bits here and there where I'm too tired to engage with them, where all I can handle is putting dinner on the table and getting through another bedtime routine.

Never a dull moment with these toddlers!

Gotta love those random arm swings. My daughter really is the sweetest little girl, but wow she's uncoordinated at the best of times haha.

So thankful to have working glasses!
