Reports have emerged of alleged looting of public and private property in Rawalakot, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Across various areas of Rawalakot, private vehicles—including cars, wagons, coasters, and freight trucks—that had remained parked since 4 June 2026, when all transport services were suspended, were reportedly targeted last night. The windows of several vehicles were broken, and some are alleged to have been removed and relocated to undisclosed areas.

Earlier, members of the public reported incidents of shop looting. Subsequently, reports and video footage also surfaced alleging that residential properties were targeted. It is now being claimed that a further wave of theft and looting has taken place.
