🚫 Banff National Park is a NO DRONE ZONE🚫

Recently, videos posted to social media showed an individual flying a drone in both Banff National Park and Waterton Lakes National Park, Parks Canada. 🚁📹

After an investigation by Parks Canada, an individual was charged with two offenses under the National Parks Aircraft Access Regulations, one for each park, and issued $1,100 in fines.

This serves as a reminder to the public that Park Wardens can issue charges not only for operating a drone within national parks at the time of the incident, but also as a result of investigations into drone footage or content posted online.

📍 Remember: Flying drones in national parks is strictly prohibited.
