Empty trails, fall colours, and epic views — can’t beat taking the long way home! 🍁🚙

If you’ve followed along on our adventures, you’ve probably noticed my window is always down—unless it’s dusty or raining. Well, after 400,000 km (half of that on gravel roads), the window motor finally gave up within a week. Not ideal!

At first, the factory diagrams make it look like a big project, but it turns out it’s actually pretty simple. A bit of trim, a couple of bolts, and the new motor dropped right in—no need to tear everything apart.

Some snapshots from our latest trip 🌲🏕️

We camped right on the river by a set of falls, easily one of the best spots I’ve stayed. Warm days around 25°C and cool nights just above 10°C made for perfect fall camping weather.

Back to the Montana beaches! 🏕️🌊

We finally made it out for another camping trip, this time setting up just a few meters from the shoreline. There’s nothing quite like waking up right on the sand with the lake just outside your tent.

It wasn’t quite warm enough to go for a swim, but it was still an incredible night, relaxing by the water, exploring the nearby trails, and soaking in the views.
