We are incredibly honoured to share that My North Star Home has received a 2026 Silver Telly Award in the General – Music Video category!

This recognition belongs to so many talented people who helped bring this project to life. A heartfelt thank you to Ashley Ghostkeeper, who collaborated with us to write and perform this beautiful song, Joel Goundry and Roadwest Pictures, and Steve Dierkens at Studio D.

We are also deeply grateful for the support of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and Calgary Arts Development, whose support helped make this project possible.
It truly takes a village, and we are proud to share this honour with everyone who contributed their creativity, talent, and passion to My North Star Home.

We are so excited to be hosting a live premiere of Like A Mountain in partnership with Healing Lens Media this Young Caregivers Day!

This film illustrates the hidden challenges of being a Young Caregiver as we follow Sam, who has carried the weight of supporting his father with a rare schizoaffective condition since childhood. Sam is joined by filmmaker and cancer survivor Dr Mike Lang , along with world-renowned mindfulness researcher Dr. Linda Carlson

Following the screening, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with an interactive panel of speakers, followed by a guided mindfulness activity!
