We’re home, and The Witch’s Hearth reopens tomorrow.
It has been a bit of a whirlwind over here. I headed away for retreat with Carin, came home, and almost immediately we were packing up again for the AWA Volunteer Appreciation Campout. It was an absolutely wonderful weekend with our people, and honestly, exactly the kind of time together that reminds me why we do so much of what we do.
But now we’re home. The bags are getting unpacked, the Hearth is opening its doors again, and tomorrow night we come back into circle with Goddess Craft.
This month we’re talking about Sacred Relationship — and what it actually means to build relationship with the Goddess beyond simply choosing a deity, reading her mythology, putting something on an altar and calling it devotion.
We’re going to talk about devotion and discernment, offerings and prayer, reciprocity, listening, and the very real question of how we remain sovereign women while entering into relationship with something sacred.
Because relationship takes time. It asks something of us. And whether we’re talking about our relationships with the gods, with one another, or even with ourselves, I think there’s a lot worth sitting around a table and talking about there.
We already have a beautiful circle of women registered for tomorrow night, but there is still room at the table.
