Congratulations to my dear friend, Shehraz, on a successful Canada Lifestyle Fashion Show & Exhibition.

It was a night filled with celebrating culture, inclusion and self-expression. None of it would have been possible without the incredible people who brought the fashion show to life and shared in the same vision.

I can’t wait for the next show. 🤍

An inspiring night filled with resiliency. I found myself glued to my seat hearing about the palpable vulnerability and strength derived from stories of pain.

Among other experiences in life, Adversity is one of our teachers. We can learn so much about ourselves; our character is built through hardship. A privilege that is overlooked, is the privilege to choose. The privilege to put yourself first. Unfortunately, the means of survival comes at the expense of your mental health and autonomy. This pains my heart.

However, this is the ultimate truth: who you decide to be is your choice.

Congratulations to SIYS on their first AGM. This was monumental to me and truly has my heart. SIYS is doing real and honest work in a world where it feels like we are hitting a brick wall.

Thank you, Moose and SIYS, for all you do to empower our Youth in the community. 🤍
