Finally made it to the Seven Beefs Feast and it was so good! (And so much food... One order can easily serve 3-4 imo). I guess we also ordered spring rolls 😛

Highlights were the grilled la lot, beef skewer, beef congee, and papaya salad. Also comes with two kinds of dipping sauces! Also the tamarind pineapple soda with peanuts was mind blowing 🤯

Today was our third time going to at , and I now really think it's one of the best restaurants in YYC for straight-up delicious food. Everything we've ordered has been packed with flavour, and all the components of the dishes are perfectly executed. Plus, the sauces that come on the side are just ridiculously good. If you haven't been there yet, drop by next time you're at Avenida, order anything on the menu, and enjoy!
1) Anticuchos de corazón
2) Rotisserie chicken combo
3) Lomo saltado
4) Aji de gallina

How have we not tried before now?! What a great place to have a delicious Korean snack before badminton

We walked in and they were making boong uh bbang (fish shaped cakes) and knew it would be great. What a great combo, plus they gave us each a little bowl of dashi 💞10/10 would recommend you stop by for the Yummy combo! Comes with kimbap of your choice (we got spicy pork), tteokboki, and two fishes! 😋

Dinner at Termeh downtown was terrific! Decided to spend more time at and luckily thought of having dinner at .calgary ! The mirza (smoky eggplant dip) was warm and phenomenal💯 We got the mixed kebob platter with beef koobideh (loved it) and chicken joujeh (a bit dry, pieces were too large, though eating with mirza was super good). We got it with half rice, half shiraz salad which was a nice acidic counterbalance. It also comes with a spiralized bb potato which was seasoned nicely 🥔the teas were quite bitter but the saffron rock sugar was yum! Can't wait to come back and try more dips!

Cinco Jotas acorn-fed Ibérico ham at
It's certainly a luxury item, but worth trying at least once if you are a fan of charcuterie. The flavour of the acorns fed to the pigs really does come out in the final product, particularly in the fattier pieces. Really something where you can savour and contemplate each bite, and it pairs well with some of the red wines they have available.
We also had anchovies with avocado and peppers, and the carajillo (espresso with cognac).

Dim sum at with fam:
1) Fresh ling cod congee
2) Bean curd rolls with pork and shrimp
3) BBQ pork pastry with lemon zest 💯 (so refreshing!)
4) Chiu chow style dumplings 🤤
5) Rice noodle with bean curd wrapped fish paste 😍
6) shrimp stuffed eggplant
7) Truffle siu Mai
8) Shrimp toast (which was hilariously just shrimp pastebon a McCain hashbrown)
9) Bittermelon mochi stuffed with molten black sesame🤤 SO GOOD
10) Fried ginger milk - not a strong enough ginger flavour on this and the milk was kinda pastry. Not our fave

Overall a solid place for dim sum, and super accessible on the Canada line. Some items were mislabeled (supposed to be mushroom bean curd rolls🤷‍♀️ and the bittermelon mochi were labeled matcha and custard) but everything is executed well
