Sharing for awareness!

As most of you know we love offroading in bc, however due to the recent wildfires (of which we just saw spark up last week on our offroad trip) there is a ban on most southern bc areas. Please remember to respect these closures and ensure our backcountry is protected.

Given the scope and scale of wildfires currently burning in B.C., and to further protect public safety, recreational off-road vehicle use will be prohibited on Crown land in the Kamloops and Southeast Fire Centres, as well as parts of the Cariboo and Coastal Fire Centres. This prohibition is effective immediately, as of 12 p.m. (noon) on August 10, 2026.

Deep in the mountains, we stumbled across this incredible glacier melt waterfall flowing through the backcountry. 🏔️💦 Cold mountain water, towering wilderness, and absolutely nobody around — this is exactly why we love exploring the remote backcountry.
You never know what you'll find when you get off the beaten path. 🌲🔥

Wildlife post from last weekend!

Ran into this mama black bear and her 2 cubs on the trail (curious little guys) as well as these baby coyotes crossing in front of us.

Topped off the weekend with this Bambi deer trying to get at the apple trees. Love spotting the critters while we are out enjoying the trails!

Throwback to when I hit a rock at around 80 KM/H on my Kawasaki KRX 1000… and absolutely OBLITERATED the rim. 💥😳

The impact was so hard it snapped the wheel in half with the tire still mounted! One of those off-road moments you definitely don't forget.

The KRX took a serious hit on the trail, and this is exactly why backcountry riding can get wild fast!

Sometimes the best destinations aren't on a map. After exploring deep into the Monashee Mountains in my Ford F-150 Tremor, I stumbled across this quiet alpine lake surrounded by towering peaks and untouched wilderness. No crowds, no noise—just pure British Columbia backcountry at its finest.
These hidden places are exactly why I love exploring by 4x4. Would you spend a night camping here?

Exploring deep into the BC backcountry in our side-by-sides led us to one of the most incredible hidden gems we've ever seen—a massive canyon waterfall pouring through the rock in the middle of nowhere! 🌊🏔️
This is exactly why we love off-roading: forgotten trails, unreal scenery, and adventures you can't experience from the pavement. Every ride has the chance to uncover something unforgettable, and this hidden waterfall definitely delivered.

🚨 Different angle of the wildfire we spotted during our BC backcountry adventure.

Watching the smoke build and realizing a forest fire had just started was something we'll never forget. We immediately reported it to the fire warden so BC Wildfire crews could respond.

It's a sobering reminder of how quickly conditions can change in the mountains. Huge thanks to the firefighters who put themselves on the line to protect our forests and communities.

Stay alert if you're exploring the backcountry, follow fire restrictions, and report any signs of smoke or fire as soon as it's safe to do so.
