A month ago I lost hearing in my right ear.

Two weeks ago, I made a new mix to prove to myself I still could.

When I first got in to DJ’ing, someone told me that recording mixes is like creating a time capsule of what you were listening to at that point in time. As this last month has been the most significant change I’ve ever experienced, I wanted to make sure I put this moment in a time capsule.

I’m very proud of this mix and I think it’ll be a special one for a very long time.

A few days before this party I wasn’t even sure I’d be able to attend let alone play.

Stoked Raveyard worked out as well as it did and I had a blast, even though it was an abbreviated set. We definitely took things to the next level with 🙏🏼

Unfortunately, I haven’t had any hearing recovered yet, but there’s still time for it to bounce back so I’m just trying to stay positive and hope that it does. At the very least, I was happy I could still DJ, even though music doesn’t sound like it once did.

I don’t know what the future holds for me as far as being involved in the music scene, but I want to try my hardest to stay a part of it. Maybe this time in my life is when I need to stay more vigilant than ever.

For those of you that saw my last post, I’ll be playing an abbreviated set, but I’m just happy I’ll still be able to be a part of it.

This is definitely the biggest party SVP has ever thrown and I’m excited to share this next chapter of our events with you.

Gutted to hear of Rated Ultra Lounge’s closing.

A lot of good times were had on that dance floor, and I met so many good people along the way.

A big shout out and thanks to Matt and Chris for creating the space, and giving so many new DJs the opportunity to play on a big sound system with state of the art equipment. Shout out to all the investors who gave their time and money to a project they believed in.

Matt, Chris and the staff at Rated were super supportive of my side project, Stay Vigilant Productions (SVP) and we threw more than 10 parties in their venue over the years. These slides are some of my favourite memories from SVP shows over the years, and the final slide is from their closing party this past weekend.

Unfortunately, venues are closing all over the world, not just in Calgary, as the opportunities to discover new music no longer rely on the club. We can roll over in our beds, and find all the days newly released music in the palm of our hand.

This all ties in with what ‘Staying Vigilant’ is all about. As tempting as it may be to sit on your couch and inundate yourself with unlimited entertainment… don’t. Get out of your house, support the scene, meet new people, and help keep the city vibrant.

Stoked to be playing at for Terraza, bringing some fresh house vibes to the Red Mile. I’ll be going in deep for this one. 🙏🏼

Been in a bit of a DJ hybernation for the last little while. Needed to take a step back and find my love for it again.

That being said, I’m feeling better and I’ve got three really fun gigs lined up over the next few weeks!

First up is the pool party this Sunday, August 24th at . Forecast is looking like it’ll be a hot, sunny summer day. Slide in to the DMs if you need a hookup on tickets!

Saturday August 30th is the Patio Pride Party at . I’ll be playing during the afternoon drag show hosted by , and then moving inside for the evening after party in the brewery alongside !

Saturday Sept 6, I’ll be parked up at taking you through the golden hour, in to sunset for a special 2-hour set that I’m really looking forward to.

Outrageous fun was had over these last 10 days. Stampede 2025 was one for the ages, and one I won’t soon forget. Shoutout to all the lovely people I got to spend time with on the grounds, in the tents, and everywhere in between.
