Hi friends!! Now that we've come down from the awesomeness that was Mystic Grove Sessions we have a couple things we would like to go over
Subject: Community Respect & Exciting News – Please Read Carefully
First, I want to take a moment to address an issue that came up during our last event: smoking and proper disposal of cigarette butts.
As you all know, ashtrays were provided, and everyone signed a waiver agreeing not to discard cigarette butts on the ground. Unfortunately, we ended up having to clean up over 50 cigarette butts on the lawn, parking lot, and beside the building after the event.
Please understand — this venue is not a bar or a typical party spot. It is a children’s event center with a zero-tolerance policy for this kind of litter. Incidents like this jeopardize our ability to use beautiful, unique venues like this one in the future.
We must do better. Our psytrance community is incredible — loving, respectful, and supportive. We saw that in so many ways, from the cleanliness of the venue overall to the amazing energy throughout the event. To everyone who used the ashtrays: thank you. You are seen and appreciated.
But to those who didn’t: it’s time to step up. I understand because of the wind being a bit aggressive the ashtrays needed to be moved but they were still just inside the front door. It was up to us — all of us — to make the effort to butt out in those. Next time, please either use the ashtrays or remind someone else to. We all share responsibility for protecting our community’s spaces and future events.
Now, onto something exciting... ✨🎉✨

Potential Campout / Music Festival – We Need Your Input!
We’re currently exploring the idea of hosting a small music festival or community campout over the September long weekend. While we’re still finalizing the venue (we should have more finalized details by next week) , we’re looking at a beautiful space about an hour north of Edmonton — roughly a 3 hour 45-minute drive from Calgary.
Here’s what we’re thinking:
A community campout with one stage — or a mini festival with two small stages if there’s enough interest.
This would be a grassroots-style gathering, and for it to happen, we need solid community support — not just good vibes and maybes, but hard yeses.
If you’re committed, we’d ask for a pre-payment on tickets, with a formal agreement:
If we don’t have enough interest by July 15 and be based on land approval, all money will be refunded in full.
We won’t spend anything until we have confirmation and the green light based on interest and funds.
If we don’t meet the numbers for a full event, we’re still thinking of organizing a community campout, with an event tent, sound, and a low-key party just for our crew. Either way, it’ll be something special — but only if we build it together.

Here’s How You Can Help:
If you’re interested, please reply with a hard yes and we can proceed with further details
If you have questions, suggestions, or concerns, we’re all ears.
If you want to help plan or volunteer, we would love to have you involved as we would need all hand on deck.
And if you’re a DJ interested in playing, please reach out — we’d love to include you.
Let’s keep building something magical, together. But let’s also hold ourselves to a higher standard — for the venues, the spaces, and each other.
Thank you for your time, energy, and love.
Much appreciation,
Jen 🩷
