Huge appreciation to Rated Ultra Lounge for curating an unforgettable two-day celebration that truly ignited the spirit. To the incredibly talented DJs who took the stage, your performances were absolutely phenomenal, I've always believed and I'll continue to affirm, Calgary boasts an impressive pool of gifted artists. Regrettably, my time had to come to an end, what a whirlwind two days that was, be safe and catch you on the flip side.

Still my go-to setup for jamming on TECH 12's MK2 and a RANE mixer - the ultimate combo, ridiculously solid tech, platter was rock-solid and zero pitch issues, no wonder they rocked it for 20 years till they innovated the MK3-MK5's, but let's be real, the MK2's were the magic makers, the derect drives on the 3’s & 4’s just didn't hold up, pitch felt light and bled some, I'm a total gear nerd and I'm owning it, lol. That said, it was DJ déjà vu touching MK2’s after over ten years. No fancy waveform, beat grids or sync, just my trusty ears, touch and a lifetime of mixing mojo and my DJ toolbox tricks all came flooding back like riding a bike, check it out

Rolled up to my buddy Erin's pad in Invamere and she's got this sick stream playing from a few weeks ago - honestly, it's a blast to listen to, even if it is a marathon three or four hour set like we used to crank out back in the day. Anyway, I'm sharing it with everyone so you can re-watch the magic, though a few speedy cats have already uploaded it to YouTube.
