People think I made the wrong decision leaving nursing… but they don’t know why I did it.
Hi, I’m Ivy. 🤍
I was a registered nurse in the Philippines.
When I moved to Canada, I chose a different path and became an early childhood educator.
A lot of people asked me,
“Why didn’t you continue nursing? The salary is higher.”
And honestly… they’re not wrong.
But everything changed when I became a mom.
My priorities shifted.
It was no longer just about income — it was about time.
Time for weekends with my girls.
Time for holidays together.
Time for bedtime stories I never want to miss.
So I chose a career that allowed me to be present.
And I truly love what I do.
But deep inside… I knew I was meant for more.
I didn’t want to choose between earning well and being there for my kids.
I didn’t want to work until 70, exhausted, and still not financially free.
I wanted a life where I can provide, travel, and be present.
So I started looking for another way…
Something flexible.
Something I can build during my spare time.
Something that won’t take me away from my family.
And I found it.
An online business that I can do anytime, anywhere —
with a community that supports and uplifts me.
No, it’s not a get-rich-quick thing.
It takes work, patience, and consistency.
But for the first time…
I feel relieved.
Because I know I’m building something for our future
without missing the moments that matter most.
I’m sharing this not to brag,
but to tell every mama who feels stuck or torn…
