Miss International Canada is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Rachel Murgel, who has reached a historic milestone after representing Canada at the 63rd Miss International Beauty Pageant in Tokyo, Japan.
Over 2.5 weeks, Rachel took part in cultural exchanges, official engagements, tours and charity initiatives alongside 80 delegates from across the globe. Throughout the program, she demonstrated professionalism, warmth and the proud spirit of Canada.
On November 27, 2025, the final show took place at Tokyo’s Yoyogi 2nd National Gymnasium, where Rachel delivered an exceptional performance, earning a place in the Top 10 and the Top 10 in National Costume.
Her achievement marks a significant milestone for Canada:
Rachel is now one of only seven Canadians to reach the semi-finals and one of just three Canadians to place in the Top 10 since the pageant’s founding in 1960.
“We could not be more proud of Rachel,” said Sindy Nguyen, National Director of Miss International Canada. “She carried our flag with elegance, humility and true Canadian heart. Her achievements mark an exciting new chapter for Canada at Miss International.”
